  1. What is the scenario where you think McDermott goes and Beane stays?
  2. Ugh. I HATE Villa Park. It is like bottom of my list. Just something about the place. Hillsborough is good though. Although I haven't been for about 20 years. I was there the Di Canio day....
  3. Nah. This regime is tied at the hip. It is one go both go.
  4. I think it is colder than most realise. I also think it is probably colder than it should be. But I think Pegs is wedded to this regime and especially with Kim's situation I don't see him going for major upheaval unless he has to.
  5. I think St James's is my favourite stadium in England since they ruined Anfield. Brilliant atmosphere and being in Newcastle city centre on a Saturday night after they have won is like a non stop party. But their recent improvement is not exactly a little guy done good tale so much as it is is a nation state buys a football club tale.
  6. The sense it makes is he was not very good.
  7. The former, or try your luck with a tout and then the latter.... but Arsenal are really cracking down on touting. I get emails frequently telling me about touting rings that have been cracked and people who have bought them from touts not getting in. Will depend a little bit on who they get that week as well. If they are home to Bournemouth you have a shot. If it is home to Manchester United you have no chance (and the game would almost certainly be moved to Sunday and clash with the Bills too).
  8. There is West Ham too, and Crystal Palace. Brighton isn't London but is only about 90 minutes away. Luton is about an hour and they are in the Championship promotion race as are Millwall.
  9. Yep. International break is due to be 9th to the 17th. There will be soccer games in London on Saturday 7th if people want to fit one in during a visit. One would expect Spurs will be away on the Saturday (think the stadium turnaround takes about 48 hours) so that means the mighty Arsenal are likely to be at home. Although now we are good again tickets are likely gold dust. But there will be any number of other London based teams in the Premier League and Championship that are at home that weekend. As @BritBill says - soccer schedules will be released next month.
  10. Yep. 9am on a random day in June.
  11. There is some truth to this and definitely there were younger teams who improved as the year went on. But equally the Bills of week 6 were not the Bills of week 18 because of injuries. Week 6 is before Josh Allen injured his throwing arm. Week 6 is before Jordan Poyer tore his knee. Week 6 is before Von Miller blew an ACL. Week 6 is before Ed Oliver was playing with his pec heavily strapped. Week 6 is before Daquan Jones was hurt. And it was also before we realised how limited Tre White was in his return. Not that every team doesn't get injuries... but the Bills had the bug all year last year, in a year where they had pushed their chips into the middle of the table. Some of that is just rotten luck. That said, it is legit to say they had much better injury luck in 2021 and were pretty healthy when they blew it in 13 seconds.
  12. The Premier League schedule reveal isn't until June. This is just Tottenham ***** up. Which is pretty much what they specialise in.
  13. The last one to become a regular starter was Levi. We have had others make the roster in depth roles - Gilliam, Dodson, Morris on the current roster. Robert Foster in the recent past plus Justin Zimmer and Ike Boettger (who were Bills UDFAs, left then came back and made our roster and started some games). But the last two that I can remember as Bills UDFAs who legit won starting jobs are Levi Wallce and Nickel Roby-Coleman. Ryan Bates was also an UDFA who the Bills traded for off the Eagles during his first training camp.
  14. I'm not sure Latavius Murray makes it. I think the Bills signed him as insurance but they almost never draft 4 running backs, and Cook, Harris and Hines are all dressing unless Harris's health issues resurface. Are you really retaining a 33 year old running back as a non-dressing roster member at the expense of a young guy you like who plays teams? Q Morris played 75% of STs snaps this past season. Who replaces those snaps? You are not running Kincaid or Knox out there to do that job. I also agree with @MrEpsYtown - if Dodson doesn't win the LB job he might not be here, likewise AJ Klein (who they picked up off the street last season). I'd go no Murray and (optimistically) no Klein and replace them with Morris and Spector. I expect Morris to make it. Spector is more of a 50/50 proposition. Obviously a chance Von starts on PUP (but I hope not).
  15. As a fellow 38 year old I approve the idea that Duane Brown is still in his mid 30s....
  16. I think they would have to feel he is one of their best 2 gunners right now and that is still a pretty steep hill to climb. Especially since Covid and the liberalised PS rules the game, more than ever, for GMs is how do I keep as many of the guys I like as possible and Shavers is one of the easier sneak to the PS guys if they want to keep 10 defensive lineman or Broekers as an extra OL or whatever it may be.
  17. Surely the end for Tim Settle? Poona and Daquan as the 1T, Ed and Big Phil at 3T. But still 0 DTs signed beyond 2023.
  18. Yea. But Beane pretty much confirmed it. How much we use a slot vs Kincaid as a "flex tight end" is a question but when we go 11 personnel I expect Shakir in the slot.
  19. A big deal? Lol. 1961. That's how big of a deal. The Bills have won a championship more recently.
  20. Buccs, Raiders and Packers for the under. Steelers, Panthers, Jags over.
  21. I prefer him on this than doing the McAfee show. But he always tends to do one of these post draft interviews. Brandon is a great talker. He is interesting, engaging and pretty candid. He has always been a great listen. He also tells you things without always meaning to because of how candid he is. There are certain issues thst he knows will come up where he has a pre-prepared line - Diggs was one of those in this interview. He was very careful with what he said and he never confirmed whether that had been the "check in" call Rich asked about. But if it isn't something where he has a pre-planned answer you get little nuggets from listening to him. The nugget I took from this was that Shakir is going to get first run at the slot job. He lists his weapons as Diggs, Davis and "Khalil Shakir a 5th rounder that came on last year." It is similar to how they talked about McKenzie last year and he ultimately had the job all season. This doesn't mean Shakir will come out of camp as the starter but I think he will go into it as the clubhouse leader.
  22. I'm pretty certain it will be Gabe. I think come 2024 Kincaid will be in the running (Gabe will likely be gone). But I expect some growing pains in the Bills finding their way with their 11 and a half personnel as Beane called it.
  23. Impossible to say if we have "done enough". The AFC is a gauntlet. The Bills will be contenders again... but it comes down to being at their best and getting the bounces they need in the post season and that is just too hard to predict.
  24. Listening to Beane I think there is zero and I mean zero per cent chance that there is pressure on Davis's roster slot. Nor should there be.
