  1. Again my point wasn't about Tremaine. It was about Campbell. He has a lot to learn in coverage. I like the kid. He can be a solid NFL player. But he is on a learning curve as a coverage 'backer which should have precluded him from being a top 20 pick.
  2. I mean I wasn't doing that. I was just making the point that you don't draft a MLB early in this NFL unless that guy can cover. Because it is a passing match up league.
  3. I will just point out that the second worst coverage grade on that list is the guy some Bills fans were adament we had to draft to replace Tremaine. I know, rookie, week 1, vs Chiefs... but those of us who were against the "draft Campbell in the first" or even "trade back and draft him early second" were saying he is gonna be on a steep learning curve in terms of his coverage skills in the NFL. I expect him to get better. I don't ever expect him to the worth the pick the Lions invested.
  4. I am more low energy. Definitely. I am less excited for this season. I too thought a Superbowl was very possible last year and basically the minute Josh hurt his elbow I thought it was over and said as much on here. Then we lost Von. Then Tre returned a ghost of himself. I just feel like last year should have been the year and the one time we needed a bit of injury luck we got none. I still expect the Bills to win the division and to be a good team. But I think maybe I have just got used to us being good. There was an excitement about being good when it was the first time. I kinda went through this journey with Arsenal. I was more excited for the 1998 double that the 2004 season where they went unbeaten because 1998 was the first time in my fandom they were really good. I know the Bills still haven't climbed the mountain but I feel like I am just more used to them being good. That all said, I am still using a day's annual leave tomorrow so that I can be with you all this evening for the opener. So that's something. GDT overreactions FTW!!!
  5. I have never got to every game but there were a few years where I diligently got to 10 games a week every week. Sadly on DAZN I can no long download and watch on my commute so those days are over.
  6. Yea. And the linebackers still absolutely suck. Corner isn't that hot without Ramsey either.
  7. The game plan from the Chargers didn't make much sense. It's like the said "right we were bad against the run last year, it's week 1 let's stop the run" without looking and seeing the Dolphins were their opponents and thinking "hmm maybe we should stop Hill." Playing the Dolphins your first priority should ALWAYS be to slow Tyreek Hill down. If you can limit him to 50-60 yards you can win the game. Trying to stop Mostert at the expense of stopping Hill was just a bad plan.
  8. Yea that was the game I watched. Dolphins made more plays and fewer mistakes on offense. Chargers made fewer plays and more mistakes on offense. Neither defense did much of anything. If anything both defenses that were poor a year ago looked worse.
  9. They have improved it since it launched. Sucks that you can't download though.
  10. There was a rumour that week that Pittsburgh had gameplanned for the Bills. After I am inclined to believe it.
  11. Has anyone told the Broncos you are supposed to go forwards?
  12. Juju doing Juju things. Such an overrated player.
  13. Not a TD. But the Dolphins D is struggling.
  14. It was a bit overstated that the Chargers outcoached Miami. And I said that at the time. Miami just sucked that day.
  15. Yep was the problem last year. It wasn't the coordinator. It was the players.
  16. They were the next closest just wasn't sure about the Modkin offense.
  17. I took the Eagles in survivor. I didn't like a lot of the matchups this week for one reason or another. Philly was the stone cold guarantee on the board. Don't worry FC. Just another 17 weeks and the playoffs to go. Things can only get better.
  18. He is a playmaker. As a passer he has a cannon just not sure how much control he has of it. I think Shane Steichen was a good hire if they were gonna draft him. He'd be bad stuck in a conventional west coast. You need an offensive play caller willing to be unconventional.
  19. I expect the Titans to be bad. 6 or 7 wins max.
  20. And have lost ELEVEN starters I believe.
  21. Depends how healthy Burrow is. I am not sold he could push off that leg at all. Baker and the Buccs WIN
  22. You are not wrong. This has been a rough opening window. I mean week 1 is often like this but 🤢
