The lack of working the intermediate zones is my big bug bear. Everything feels like a check down or a deep shot.

I think he has been poor balanced out by an incredible touchdown play. The pick he bailed a clean pocket and threy back across his body into double coverage and then he was lucky not to throw a 2nd one trying to fit a ball into triple coverage. He isn't in rhythm. He needs to chill out, not play the reputation of the Jets defense and play the downs as they develop. I will say he hasn't been helped by inconsistent play calling.

I dunno Josh has not played well but he made an incredible play for the touchdown. I just want him to settle and get into a rhythm. He hasn't been there since the middle of last season.

No he wasn't. But on a first look before the replay my instinct was illegal forward pass.

That is a play only Allen and Mahomes in the entire league can make. And that is the Allen experience. He was very lucky not to throw a pick in his own territory throwing into triple coverage when he never should. But the the TD play is magic.
