  1. I'd add Ed Oliver was outstanding 2nd half. He was pretty invisible firdt half and people in thr GDT were happily calling him out. Second half he was excellent. No coincidence that the touchdown drive was with the 2nd team DL in - Shaq, Settle, Phillips, AJE. I think they rotated the line less last night but the one drive the backups were out there... it showed.
  2. I mean Dorsey called a touchdown play on that second down. Cook had the defender beat and woulda walked in. Josh under threw it.
  3. No. If Josh cannot play better we can't win a Championship. It isn't just that he hasn't been elite since that game.... he has been a decison making mess at times and a turnover machine. I'm worried. I hated his body language in the playoff game and I hated it last night too. Playing like he is in a daze.
  4. Between the Giants and the Bills. The Giants because they were not competitive at all. Didn't deserve to be on the same field as the Cowboys. The Bills because this isn't some isolated bad night for Josh. It was the worst it has been but some of these issues we saw in the pre-season game at Pittsburgh. We saw in the Bengal game. We saw in the Miami playoff game and we saw at times down the stretch last season. At the end of 2022 I was thinking "well his line is terrible" and "the elbow isn't 100%" then in pre-season I was saying "just pre-season doesn't wanna get hit" but last night there were no excuses. I thought the line held up okay under stress. He had enough around him in terms of skill guys and he looked as bad as ever. Dorsey can be part of this conversation too but ultimately I think it is just decision making on Josh's part. And it has been happening for a while.
  5. Gabe was on the field less. They had Sherfield out there on some 2 receiver sets. Snap counts will be interesting.
  6. Dabes ended up in the box solidly after the rookie season. But Dorsey was there with Josh. I wonder whether there is any rapport with Joe Brady. Maybe that is part of it. We could try Dorsey coming down. Gotta try something.
  7. On that 3rd down he ran towards pressure out of a clean pocket. That is on him.
  8. https://x.com/SharpFootball/status/1701440484051222921?s=20 Josh Allen was pressured on 26% of dropbacks 10th lowest of any QB despite that, he took 9 hits (3rd most) and 5 sacks (5th most) while being sacked on 11% of dropbacks (5th most) Was not on the OL folks. When the numbers look like that it is a Quarterback problem.
  9. Yep. There might be some of that about it. He is dropping his eyes to the rush I think and that is a symptom of bad lines and ultimately on Brandon Beane.
  10. The bailing clean pockets happened in that game too. I was thinking hopefully just pre-season he is taking zero risks of being hit.... but the same happened tonight.
  11. 100%. They battled their asses off against a good DLine and Josh did them zero favours. I'd be pissed if I was an OLman tonight. They playes well enough for Buffalo to win that game.
  12. You can give him a dominant run game if you like.... but if his decision making on pass plays is as bad as tonight you could have Barry Sanders and Jim Brown behind him and we'd be going nowhere. We didn't lose tonight because we lacked a run game. Cook ran reasonably well. We lost because our Quarterback made terrible decisions throwing the football.
  13. He made a fair few of our first downs. The problem is the Quarterback played like utter *****.
  14. Honestly watch it back. Brown had like 3 really bad snaps. Morse had a couple. McGovern had 1. But for the most part the oline was doing enough to just about hold up. Battling is asses off against a talented front. And Josh kept running out of clean pockets.
  15. Shame for Rodgers. I don't like it ending like that for him. The Jets can't make the playoffs behind Wilson though I don't think.
  16. It really didn't. Against a very good front it held up reasonably well for the most part. Josh bailed at least 5 or 6 clean pockets. He thinks he is under more duress than he is.
  17. Yea tonight was the worst but this is not an isolated game. Since week 6 or so of last year there has been more bad and average than good.
  18. That may be true. But they will never win anything with Quarterbacking that bad. And I know people will say one game but it really isn't... when did Josh last play a really good game where he looked like the elite QB we know he can be? I have Miami home regular season as basically the only really good game since about week 6 last season.
  19. My overreaction is that was so bad that if Josh Allen came out tomorrow and said he was stepping away from football for a period for personal reasons I would not be totally stunned. I think there is something going on his head that isn't football. I don't know what but he just does not look, sound or play like himself.
  20. Was another clean pocket. Football is designed to be played from the pocket.
