  1. Definitely more explosive. Not as polished or nuanced. I wouldn't be stunned if in 5 years he is the better NFL player. I still have Harrison and Nabers closer than I do Nabers and Odunze.
  2. I don't think he has to. Let me be clear on that. But I like that some as a fit for his skillset.
  3. Yea page 3. And it no longer exists.
  4. He wasn't helped by his QB a ton, for sure. I dunno. He just ends up competing for almost every ball. It is why I quite like the big slot idea. Scheme him some free releases against zone and get the ball in his hands. I like him quite a bit after the catch.
  5. I agree in terms of their talents. And three years ago I might have agreed with what they'd do. But I suspect they do feel just a little bit of urgency given everything. Maybe Newton just goes much earlier (I'd take him at #9 if I was Chicago and the top 3 WRs were gone - he is my top ranked defensive player) and it saves any debate. McDaniel was trying to be his "bro" at the pro day too. That was very cringe but possibly also telling.
  6. I think it is definitely stronger at the top than 2020. This top 3 is better than that top 3. The next tier - Higgins, Aiyuk and Pittman is comparable to the next tier this year.
  7. DeJean? No chance.
  8. It hasn't. And it may still not. But this is a different level of talent. Wade was a really good club player who wasn't international rugby standard (beyond being an excellent 7s player). This is one of the top 5 or 6 young talents in world rugby turning his back on the game at 23 to try the NFL. If this works out I promise you he will not be the last. The world of rugby union is terrified. As mentioned above the Eagles tackle. But more importantly - a talent as good as LRZ has never tried it before.
  9. The 2016 Bama team is the exception. That had six guys who have gone on to be NFL all pros. Calvin Ridley, Ryan Kelly, Derrick Henry, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Marlon Humphrey and Eddie Jackson. And then there are a bunch of others who have had decent careers - Jonathan Allen, Jarran Reed, A'Shawn Robinson, OJ Howard and Cam Robinson. Those two Bama - Clemson national title games in 2016 and 2017 were chocked full of guys who have been good to great NFL players. I believe them to be the two best college football games in terms of standard I have ever watched. I like Zak Zinter in terms of value where he will go and talent the best of all the Michigan guys. I think he could end up a starting guard for a decade and you can get him day 3.
  10. Ha. Really in this scenario they have to get above Baltimore. They have been all over Morgan in the process. If he gets to them he is gone. And I think KC really likes him too. There are two cases IMO of two teams appearing to have zeroed in on the same tackle and I have trades in both circumstances.
  11. His drop rate wasn't that low.
  12. Levi has accepted he blew the call. Has said so publicly. He played it wrong.
  13. He never had the temprament for it either though. Was his own worst enemy a lot of the time.
  14. He was a totally different level of rugby talent to Wade. Wade was a finisher. LRZ is a complete package he can do it all. Doesn't mean he will be any more successful in the NFL of course but he is younger and more talented than Wade.
  15. I know he doesn't. But it is a fair statement regardless.
  16. I get that. But the 2023 film isn't just good. It is very good. If he had 2 years of that this isn't even a conversation.
  17. See there is no world in which I can watch Franklin's 2023 tape and Legette's and grade Franklin's higher. I know a big part of your concern on Legette is not the 2023 film so much as where was that in 2021 and 2022 and why did it take until 23 to play good football - which is fair. But I just think you are having to look at the most recent film of both and talk yourself into the less impressive tape. I'm not trying to convince you. I know we disagree. I am just trying to explain where I am.
  18. But they are old. In a lot of spots. The Eagles won a straight up swap of Huff for Reddick IMO.
  19. Honestly before the testing I'd have said Alshon Jeffrey former Bears and Eagles. His tape reminds me of him. But his testing says there is a higher ceiling there.
  20. Time to work out what teams I want.
  21. 13 seconds was mainly a McDermott issue. From the squib decision to the defences called to the 2nd timeout. But we also know Levi screwed the second play up and played the wrong leverage. And Jordan knows that because he was madly gesturing at him before the play. He could see it was about to go wrong.
  22. I'm away this evening so not by my board. I'll give it a shot and come back and correct if I am off (and remember these are grades not where I think they will go) 1. Marvin Harrison - top 5 grade 2. Malik Nabers - top 10 grade 3. Rome Odunze - top 10 grade 4. Xavier Legette - late 1st round grade 5. Brian Thomas - 1st/2nd borderline grade 6. Adonai Mitchell - mid to high 2nd 7. Xavier Worthy - mid 2nd 8. Ladd McConkey - mid 2nd 9. Troy Franklin - mid to late 2nd 10. Keon Coleman - late 2nd 11. Javon Baker - 2nd/3rd borderline 12. Ricky Pearsall - high 3rd 13. Roman Wilson - high 3rd 14. Jermain Burton - mid to high 3rd 15. Tez Walker - mid 3rd I think that is right but will crosscheck againsy my board in a couple of days when I'm home.
  23. I am not as high on Thomas as some. If he got to within the kinda "4th round pick" trade up territory where Elam and Kincaid were taken then I'd be okay. But I wouldn't be giving up next years 2nd.
  24. He wouldn't be my pick. Maybe he isn't theirs either. I agree he doesn't excite. There is something missing. But the Bills love physical freaks and high RAS. He didn't play like he tested to me. Who knows if they feel the same.
