  1. The problem wasn't so much the sack it was bailing too early on the play he had designed to the left.
  2. Because they don't wait until the guy isn't any longer the guy. They are proactive.
  3. Agree and the players look freer without his toxic energy.
  4. The big name QBs have always got favourable treatment on RTP.
  5. And I just remind people who point out the Bills losses to "inferior" Jets and Patriots teams that in all the years of Brady and Belichick dominance the Pats went 6-0 in the AFC East (which for the most part was a weaker division then) just twice. But it was still "their" division. The way the odd divisional loss doesn't stop it being the Bills' division. Oh and we are already went 6-0 once in our 4 years of division wins back in 2020.
  6. And I think he kinda has to be that. I have always said of Josh he WANTS and THRIVES with the game put in his hands. I don't know how easy it is to take the weight off him and still have him at his best. If you understand what I mean?
  7. Meh I kinda think they were a 4 or 5 win roster. I agree they weren't really good in 2022 though. I wasn't trying to imply that they were. I think they have been basically a kinda 5 win team for a few years. And their record supports that. With last year being the exception. And it was an exception. They got a few breaks early doors, bit of new coach bounce, but they weren't ever a true 9 win team.
  8. I don't support expansion. And I wouldn't support an 8 team playoff. But on 7 teams I was against it and I accept I was wrong.
  9. I agree with most of this... but I don't think the Giants had been an underachieving team. I think they had been and are a bad team with a poor roster. They overachieved last year but I am not sure it was ever sustainable without considerable roster improvement.
  10. That was my objection at the time. But I think it has worked well. And the rationale that only the #1 seed deserves a bye works for me.
  11. And that is the problem. They need to keep building but they are $40m over the cap next year, they have a couple of easier cuts like Ogbah that help. But they don't have a lot of easy restructures because their highest paid guys are older - kicking the can on them is risky. And then they have Elliot (safety), Williams and Hunt (Oline), Wilkins (Dline) and Van Ginkel (linebacker) as UFAs. And a decision to make on Tua. Basically they are at the point you normally get to when you are just trying to manage your roster as an established contender. Not when you have been back to back 1 and dones as a wildcard team.
  12. I was anti going to 7 teams in the playoffs when it happened. I am a fan of it now.
  13. I think OL is pretty even. Chiefs better G-C-G but the Bills tackles are definitely better.
  14. The last two weeks the "Mike McDaniel is s coaching genius" story has been well and truly put back in the bottle. McDermott and Spags have owned him.
  15. I think Daniels might be gone. They could draft Penix. He might well be there for them. But that is my point whatever order they go they are likely taking the 4th guy in this class.
  16. No you didn't. Other than Kyle Pitts he is the only tight end I have ever had a first round grade on. The only thing holding Njoku back has been staying healthy. He is a beast.
  17. A QB, maybe. But possible he is the 4th one off the board.
