For sure. Without the injury in camp he'd have started the year IMO. -

Was it tipped? That seemed to be what the Dolphins players were saying. But he still never looked like he caught it properly at all. Almost looked like he kicked with his instep. -

Agree. Each week you have to be 1-0. I think the passing offense is still a bit if an incomplete through two weeks because of how the games have gone. But it doesn't matter. -

Defense has balled. But Miami is still who they are. They can't beat good teams. I expect them to take a step back record wise and I said that pre-season. -

Id let him play this drive out but after that I'm fine with Mitch handing off to the backs. -

Sack for Von. He straight up beat his guy there. Miami look sad. A nice long drive and points, even 3, here would put this to bed. -

Johnson NOT going on IR prior to Miami game
GunnerBill replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's 8 though I think. They'd have no issue using one of those on Taron. -
Or Josh just slid 3 inches to his right. Or Shakir just cleared coverage a split second earlier (he just got momentarily tangled with the DB). Any one of those 3 inches had gone the Bills way and that play was a touchdown. But then Karadius Toney lines up an inch further back in the regular season maybe the Bills never make the playoffs. It is a game of inches. And especially Bills - Chiefs the last four meetings have been one or two plays either way. It's a brutal business some times.

Maybe. I honestly wouldn't care. -

Encouraging. I don't know why teams do this but the Bills are far from the only ones. Only tell you what the league mandates. -
Von Miller proves the doubters wrong

Nah equally I snapped back at you in a way I wouldn't typically. Monday for lots of reasons had not been a great day my patience were less than they should have been. -

Don't see that info tracked anywhere I normally use unfortunately. I'd be interested if anyone else can put their hands on it. -

To be clear I was very open to people disagreeing with me. What irritated me, and I confess I did allow myself to get irritated by it on Monday which probably kept the conversation going longer than it needed to - I rarely get wound up on this board but just caught me at the end of a ***** day - was the "you disagree with me so you must have an agenda" stuff. It's childish. Others think Von played better than I think he did. Fine. If they think I'm wrong, fine. I certainly don't think I am beyond reproach. But people constantly wanting to make it something more than a genuine difference of opinion wound me up. -
Week 2 - Bills at Dolphins - Game Week Thread
GunnerBill replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the offense has to be good early because I think it will be tough for the defense early. I go back to the home game with Miami early last year and the teams traded touchdowns until drive 3 when the defense had managed to settle in and get a beat on what Miami was trying to do. Then the Bills stopped them, scored on offense and the game was basically done. As for overwhelmingly off to slow starts.... they were 14th best 1st Quarter defense and 10th best 1st Quarter offense in 2023. So not fantastic but certainly not evidence of overwhelming bad starts. They definitely came out very slow last week on defense. They didn't on offense though. They went right down the field on both their first two drives and beat themselves with an unnecessary turnover and then an avoidable penalty. In 2022 we were 2nd in the league in first quarter offense and got off to a ton of very fast starts. I'm not sure the evidence points to a coaching issue.
