  1. Hmm both of those were designed shots and looked like nothing open
  2. I remember the hit and given how flag happy the officials were generally I was slightly surprised it wasn't called.
  3. Cook would be better than Hall everywhere.
  4. Yea 2 first doesn't get it done. But it gets them to listen. Anything less and they are not even taking your call.
  5. They would definitely leave it. As someone said above - it's 2 firsts to get Cleveland to the table.
  6. I disagree with this and I am a huge Benford fan. I predicted he'd win the job last year when he went into camp in competition with Elam and Jackson. But Sauce is an elite talent. If you want to say Benford has played better in 2024 so far, I think that is true. But Sauce has been great his first two years.
  7. No you gotta take your chances and every high sack number guy always has a game or two where they feast on bad teams. It is what it is. I think Promo is slightly over the top on Mack but I don't think he is miles off. He has been a very good NFL edge rusher. He's had a productive career. I do think there have been times when he has impacted teams. Certainly that first year and a half in Chicago he did. But I also think there is some truth to him as a stat padder too. I always remember the stat that over half his sacks for the Raiders came after week 10 on teams basically already eliminated from playoff contention. His performance in the first half of those same seasons was decidedly worse. Now I get it the Raiders sucking wasn't all on Mack but he had a tendency to rack up stats once the season wae dead. I think he has been overrated personally. Like he wouldn't get my vote for a team of the decade or anything close. Four all pros is a stretch IMO. That isn't to say he has been a bad player. He has clearly been a good player. Just not as good as the general narrative on him suggests.
  8. He had a 6 sack game against the hapless Raiders. That helps.
  9. Or Hall just being wildly overrated? This is completely true. You can't win without talent but you can't maximise talent without culture.
  10. Its the drops and the lack of physicality that keep Wilson out of that elite tier for me. No way would I have him above Chase. Not in a million years. I think he has elite talent. But he isn't consistent enough for a player of his talent IMO. This is 100% totally and absolutely on the money.
  11. My elite tier is: CMC, Henry, Kamara, Barkley The next tier is: Bijan, Gibbs, Taylor, Walker I think I'd have Cook at the top of the next tier after that.
  12. Maybe. I've never heard him do radio. I find he over talks on TV (which is often actually something you find with radio pbp guys when they cross over). His tendency to tell you every play who the tackle is really winds me up. Dollar for every "Dawkins with the block at the left tackle" or "Brown with the block at the right tackle" on Sunday. It's like a verbal tick he has to avoid saying nothing. Sometimes just let the pictures breathe.
  13. Strong disagree. He makes my ears bleed.
  14. The Bills would have to win 8 of 9 - with KC one of the wins to have a chance IMO. The Chiefs finish 14-3 at worst IMO.
  15. Cook's vision is excellent. It's one of his best traits. Hall's is one of his worst.
  16. I don't. His vision sucks. He can run fast in a straight line. That's it.
  17. I think Breece Hall is hugely overhyped. I'm not even sure he is the best back on that roster. I'd take James Cook over him every day of the week and twice on Sundays. Garrett Wilson is super talented but he does have his warts. His hands are not as reliable as I'd want and for every amazing circus catch there is a drop you'd want back. He also can hide a bit against really physical corners. But natural talent wise he is elite. Shakir is a totally different player. He is an excellent slot receiver and I think probably nationally he hasn't yet had the recognition he maybe deserves but 32 GMs out of 32 would swap him straight up for Wilson. Sauce has been a stud his first two years in the NFL. This year, less so. I do wonder a bit if he has checked out of this disaster season which isn't a great look. But he is one of the best, most versatile young corners in the NFL. He can play zone, he can play man, he can press he can play off.... just an all around good corner. Benford is having an outstanding year and has got better and better and better throughout his career. He is more of a zone specialist but he has held his own in man some. Again underrated as a 6th rounder of Vilanova but he is going to get PAID. Sauce his first two years was pretty close to elite. Benford isn't that yet but he is a legit #1 outside corner in the NFL as a small school 6th rounder. That in itself is incredible. Quinnen Williams is a stud. Ed Oliver is also a stud. They both got paid. They both are recognised around the NFL as outstanding players.
