  1. He'd be an excellent add. Sod a visit. If he passes the medical sign him.
  2. Yea which goes to my point. If they wanted to extend him they do that rather than restructure.
  3. Yea I am not advocating for a safety. And I think the fact the class is weak at the top probably means they won't go that way. I just don't rule it out if they see Cooper as a safety rather than a corner and he is still there.
  4. Smith will end in the HoF. Only Trent Williams and Andrew Whitworth of that generation are in the same tier. He has battled injuries the last 4 seasons and at 33 that is a risk but he played 13 games in 2023, giving up just 18 pressures and 1 sack. He was still pretty elite. If he can stay healthy this is a homerun for the Jets.
  5. I think the Rams have made some sensible mid-tier moves that improve their roster but hard to say they won the offseason when their best player just retired. Atlanta have made by far the biggest upgrade at QB in the league. And they play in the weakest division. So I'm tempted to say them.
  6. Personally I think everything that has happened in the last week makes it significantly less likely he trades up for a receiver and slightly less likely he drafts one at #28. I think #28 has gone from best receiver available to best player available between receiver, defensive line and safety.
  7. Yea and while this safety class has some depth it is not a great top end class. In the top 50 only DeJean (who is a convert from corner) and Nubin are even in play. The rest of the safeties come from about 60 to 100 in terms of pure talent
  8. I agree. The Bills are going to be middle of the pack in terms of overall roster talent this year. But they have Josh. They are well coached and they play in a winnable division. The last few years they have had a really solid all around roster that arguably just missed a difference maker or two. This year they still need a difference maker or two but they also have some holes to fill on the DL and in the secondary.
  9. You are saying you want a vet but not necessarily one they expect to start. I think we have to get a vet upgrade on Rapp and Lewis or else we are in trouble.
  10. Yea but two of them were 31 and 32 and the other was Kyle Hamilton who is generational as a safety. And there is not even a Daxton Hill in this class, let alone a Hamilton.
  11. And to be honest.... he has been that guy in the pros. Jack of all trades is exactly the description. I like the signing, do not get my wrong, he is legit - he can play. But he isn't alone a difference maker.
  12. No. But I think if they want to do that with Douglas the time was now. Even though I didn't want them to, I expected them to. They didn't. Which says to me they were not mad keen to do it.
  13. I don't know but for instance Dalton Schultz took a below market value last year. It happens. If the Bills made Knox available for trade they would have multiple suitors contract terms allowing.
  14. Yea. He still has starting tight end value. So as long as the receiving team isn't seriously on the hook that is the most likely outcome IMO.
  15. Not had a chance to look what does it do to a 2025 trade? To me that is the most likely option. Moving him for a 5th or something.
  16. I think all this guy is doing is guessing that the general smoke around Stef and Houston is true and trying to appear ITK by "reporting" this. That seems to be his MO.
  17. He also said Armstead had agreed to be a Texan. Sooooooo.....
  18. I don't think there is any fire whatsoever here. None at all. Nope.
  19. We were linked last offseason too. So no surprise here.
  20. No. Because the money paid is the money paid. They can't unpay it. - - - - - - From the same "source": @BenOndaTop If you’re a Texans fan, sports fan in any capacity. My advice is to embrace that and talk about your team HOWEVER THE ***** you want. Whatever YOU enjoy. Bring whatever you want to the conversation. Because, you’re totally right about your feelings. Even if reality is different. 9:11 AM · Mar 15, 2024 Yea. The reality is different fella.
  21. Scanning through his profile he has peddled at least 3 certainties that have not come to pass this offseason for Houston.
