Why are we even thinking about wildcards? Did the whole team injure its spleen last night?

Is the “Bills window is closed” talk finally over?
GunnerBill replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was never closed. It is open less wide than it has been IMO, and I still think that. Bringing Amari in opened it a touch more. Maybe I have even more confidence after last night too. I think it will be open wider the next couple of years as they develop and hopefully add to this young core, but you always have at least a punchers chance while you have Josh Allen and who knows maybe this is the year we get a bounce or two of the ball in the post season? I always remember Tony Dungy saying he thinks the Colts team that finally broke through was one of his less talented rosters, but they had a unity, a cohesion and a bit of luck that previous Colts teams didn't. -
Cooper says he plans to play Sunday with a cast!

But I read here he hates Buffalo and thinks Josh Allen smells? -

And Cooper gets healthy. Especially if Samuel rounds into form. -

Yea Arizona is gonna be a division winner and Miami are gonna end up around .500 and we played them with their QB both times. -

Yea the Bills got nothing going at all in the run game. But their run D is just legitmately very, very good. -

I don't agree at all. The Bills had 366 yards, 5.2 yards per play, scored more points against KC than any team in nearly 2 years and were 60% on 3rd down. Brady did a better job of attacking the blitzes than the Bills have ever done vs KC in this series IMO.- 801 replies

It is Van Demark.... no "N" not a northern European country. I didn't focus in on him, will when I watch back, but the fact I didn't notice him suggests he had a good day. We still have Tylan Grable too who actually beat him out as the swing tackle in pre-season. He is on IR, but long term feel good about our tackle depth. -

Nope you did not mishear. That is what Neil said. I knew instantly it was wrong though so I just discounted it. The Bills were on the longest active run of no losses by more than a score until the Ravens loss. -

Tipping the plays. -
Me too. I've defended him plenty. He got a bad rep because Justin Jefferson made one incredible play on him. He is proof of hard work and the Bills player development programme.

Honestly I think comes down to the amount of cash they have invested in their stars means their depth is questionable anyway.... and Shanahan isn't really a player developer as a coach, that isn't where his strengths lie. He is an Xs and Os guy, infact the best offensive Xs and Os guy in the league. -
I think the past two weeks he has been outstanding. Found his niche as the specialist Dime. Really, really good.

Me neither. Romo since CBS told him to stop doing the one thing that made him interesting is basically just a squealy, exciteable, clown with a microphone. -

McDermott is 5-1 against Andy Reid in the regular season. The best record of any active Head Coach.- 801 replies

Likewise. Basically the only times I can hold any meaningful conversation with my dad now is right after sports games. Dementia sucks.- 801 replies

Week 11, Chefs v. Bills, GAME BALLS!
GunnerBill replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I did think "maybe he was gonna call time out anyway" because it did look as though the Chiefs were in formation and maybe the Bills saw something they didn't like. But there was zero chance of that ever being overturned. -

Yes. The challenge was insane. But that aside the Bills coached a really good game IMO. -

Yea, the Chiefs got away from the run too quickly IMO. But Ed was winning his assignments all day in both run and pass game. -

Today was his best game of the year, no doubt. He played well against the Titans and very well against the Seahawks... but he was awesome today. The Chiefs basically resorted to just grabbing him 2nd half. -

I have them missing the playoffs. The Cardinals are the best team in that division IMO. -

Allen (I wasn't giving him one until that final play, I thought he had a mixed day but big players make big plays in big moments... and Josh Allen is the man) Ed Oliver. Awesome. Rousseau. Beast. Shakir. Tough as nails. Benford. Quiet excellence. EDIT: forgot to say Cam Lewis too. He was outstanding as the dime. And the coaching staff. The Bills won the coaching battle. No doubt.- 119 replies
