  1. What is it about this team that it folds like a tent when it's on the road?
  2. Thanks Coli I needed that!!!
  3. What about Gandy and Benny It seems like we took 2 steps backward and no steps forward this year. The QB position is not settled, our lines are in need of major improvement and our coach/GM do not inspire confidence. It's gonna be a long bleak offseason.
  4. I agree. Thinking about this team is like staring into the dark abyess. There has to be a silver lining somewehere though.
  5. 2 of the picks were deflections but...I always felt that we needed to see if JP was the real deal or not. I think we know what we have in Holcomb, a capable backup but not a guy who is going to take us anywhere. His lack of arm strength was evident on the last INT. I'm not a Holcomb hater, I just feel we wasted an opportunity to develop our QB of the future whatever that means.
  6. Seems like this off season started in week 4
  7. It's the man boobs thingy
  8. As a father myself I cannot imagine the grief and anguish that the Dungy family is going through right now. It's been a little over a year since my 2 best freinds lost their brother to suicide. Hearing this news today brought me back to that awful day last year and how heartbroken my friends family was. My condolences to the Dungy family, friends and Colts fans.
  9. I was wondering the same thing. Just caught the third period/OT/shootout on the internet. Go Sabres!!!
  10. All you haters , remeber the great tackle he made on JP in last years training camp?
  11. My problem with MM is that the 1 win Houston has scored more points than us. Isn't MM suppossed to be an offensive expert? I will give him complete credit for last years 9-7 record. But that record also includes the last game of the year at home, for all the marbles, against 2nd and third stringers, and we got our a$$ handed to us. It also means he gets credit for this years debacle. How many points have we scored in the second half when the games on the line? Does this look at a team that is giving maximun effort game in and game out? What exactly is our identity after 2 years of MM? Has he handled the QB situation correctly? How about the game plans and game management? When you add it all up imo, the negatives significantly outweigh the postives. BTW, Fez you lost me with your logic defending MM regarding the QB situation. Was it not the coaching staff/brian trust who decided to hand JP the job without competition? Do you really think we could afford to keep Bledose on the roster with his high $ contarct? I would have preferred a competion between Holcomb and JP through the mini and training camps but that is water under the bridge now.
  12. But good coaching and upper management can make up for that. Our current "brain trust" has made sucktitude an art form.
  13. This is too Springer-like even for Springer!
  14. The current team has made underacheiving an art form.
  15. The autopsy on this team was performed weeks ago, but pick away at the carcus if it makes you feel better. At this point what is really left to talk about? Donahoes and Mularkeys record and performance speak for themselves. Some of the more astute posters here were fretting about the O and D lines back in training camp. Most of us progressed through all the 7 stages of grief already. People care but we've talked this debacle of a season to death.
  16. I don't know about that, Yanni at Red Rocks is more exciting than an exploding python I guess!
  17. Great news. Happy birthday Gus!
  18. You know what I hate about the football pool? You get the MNF score exact and you get 3 points added to your total, you pick every game correct and you get only 1!
  19. I would reccomend Peter Gabriel 3. It has the songs Biko, Games without Frontiers, and I don't Rememeber. His album So was his biggest seller I believe and proably contains his most accessible music including the songs Dont' Give Up, Red Rain, In your Eyes, and Sledgehammer.
  20. For old, old Genesis I would reccomend the Album Foxtrot. It has the classic, epic song Suppers Ready which takes all of side 2. Many old time Genesis fans consider Supers Ready the best Genesis tune of all time. I personally like the album Selling England by the Pound. Tony Banks piano intro to Firth of Fith is magnificent. Genesis reached their artist peak with the concept album The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway-Gabriels last album with the band and a must listen for anybody who is interested in the older version of the band.
  21. I will be there also...if Steve Hackett returns as well. God that would be a great concert.
  22. Interestingly the women he duets with on Don't Give Up, Kate Bush, just put out a new double album...her first in about 10 years. KB also sings the backup on Games Without Frontiers...Jeux sans frontieres. I found the video for Don't give Up on PG website.
  23. Me too. They played a lot in Buffalo. There was another Syracuse area band that played similar music...Mr. Ed that my friends and I would always see when they came to town.
  24. Hey Poojer ever see 805?
