  1. Great news! Yeah who da thunk Rodak would be on it.
  2. Me too. They aren't as good IMO.
  3. Human nature. Ratings and money. People want to see horrible things happen at a safe distance. Excellent news!
  4. He broke that big run and I dont know that he's had a carry in a game since.
  5. You don't really, besides taking away season tix. No teeth. It's for effect.
  6. Thank god! Looked awful at first. He's done a solid job as gunner. We need him in there.
  7. Not quite as much you're right. He's Hacket's eyes on field level I'd imagine. I enjoyed EJ literally taking notes in a notepad. Anyone catch that?
  8. Agreed, idk if it was Pepper or whoever but someone lit a fire under his ass today. The cut talk was always nonsense.
  9. Dareus was a beast. What 3 sacks? Corbin and Stefan as well in Kyle's absence. Huge games for that interior.
  10. Since I started hanging around these parts I've considered a thread like this. I didn't see it as my place considering I've yet to start a thread. Glad to see it come to fruition. The whole ignore concept comes off as a little childish to me as a vet of many forums (mostly automotive and motorcycle). Nice to see most don't abuse it. Overall, this is a great bunch of informed Bills fanatics IMHO. I thought he was just a troll? If Fred Jackson ever was on ones **** list it doesn't seem likely they have much to add of any value. Couple other weird ones too... Anyone catch that thread the other night insinuating rampant racism was the reason EJ gets it so rough around here? For Christ sakes... It was deleted quickly.
  11. A lot of drinking related offenses. He had to be stage 3 intervention. He had a couple of beers on vacation (yeah...) according to his lawyer and talked his way down to 4 games from the whole season.
  12. Tuel sucks, but you must have missed a whole lot in 25 years. My vote for fairly recent worst player is Colin Brown. Justin Rogers gets honorable mention.
  13. No, yes. But together? Yes, Yes. Kid recorded it too supposedly. What a baller.
  14. As long as the Lions don't scoop him up before Sunday, it's all good.
  15. This is my gut feeling as well. I'm attempting to temper my enthusiasm and remember what team it is I root for on Sundays...
  16. Certainly wouldn't hurt.
  17. Thanks for the vid. Had no luck finding it myself. Also, not to be overlooked, his mobility is really not that awful. He moves around the pocket fairly well, good awareness. He got rid of the ball quickly, even took off for a 14 yard scramble. He doesn't stare down so much as knowing who should be open by reading the defense pre-snap. It appears he goes to many second and third options as well. Not much accuracy on the deep balls, though he did warm the bench all year. Witten and Dez certainly didnt hurt either. We don't have anyone as dominant as either of them obviously, though Sammy certainly has the potential if he gets space. Dump offs to CJ could also be exciting again... Who knows, maybe he might cut up the field instead of outside for once. The touch on the dump off to Murray to avoid the sack with ~5 mins left in the 1st quarter was great to see. The biggest issue, as already pointed out, will be the lack of time. That Cowboys offensive line did a decent job in pass protection.
  18. Maybe I can only speak for myself. That being said, I recall plenty of available QB's talk, but im not looking it up. So congrats on that good call.
  19. I think anyone who didn't want to marry EJ was aware Orton was the best available option to improve the overall QB talent, if we could get lucky enough to get him.
  20. Absolutely. He has had a career full of unenviable positions. We can only hope that this level of talent can give him a shot he has yet to have, though as you say, we can't really predict how it will work. Far too many variables. I for one am optimistic, though I realize that is mostly the "next guy" mentality we've become accustomed to as a fan.
  21. Not only that, but winning football games wasn't an issue for the '05 Bears. I know they dropped 3 out of their first 4 (they were stuck with Orton), but then won 8 straight. They won 11 games did they not? Same formula we need. Pound the ball and play excellent defense. Orton had major deficiencies it's true, but he seemed to have a leadership quality that seems to be currently lacking with EJ. Then again, he was benched after an 11-5 season and played sparingly for 2 years. Then went on to have a couple decent seasons stats wise. It has to be recognized that EJ has at least a chance to improve.
  22. It's been quite a while. Probably 10 years plus. Complaining does no good unfortunately. Not enough people are energized enough to care. Many times the dividing line for Giants/Bills coverage is 5 miles west at the Tioga county border. Agreed. I've never heard of anyone attending either. There is very little Jets presence west of the Poughkeepsie area in my experience. Probably one of the reasons they keep going to Cortland.
  23. I will admit the Giants fans are most prevalent, though many of them don't care much, you're right. I know one Jets fan in the area, and the local CBS affiliate has been bumping the Bills off CBS whenever there is a conflict since I can remember. I can understand the Giants on FOX taking precedence, but not on CBS, a la the Chargers game. Directv is in my future I'm afraid.
  24. Don't get me started...
