  1. How @transplantbillsfan and other TDS sufferers imagine it... How sane people took it...
  2. Bit of a rant post. This is the biggest conspiracy theory I have and I cannot for the life of me figure it out. A comedian who isn't funny or good looking and hooks up with hot, successful and famous women constantly. Netflix keeps pushing his special on me. I finally watched and it's not good. He's also constantly a trending story on the internet. I honestly think he's living proof that you can make a deal with the devil. I have no other explanation.
  3. I think you and I both live in the same area ?. Judging by my office and campus, I dont think you're on an island. Hell. Most of my friends and coworkers don't know I support Trump. I just tell them I'm not into politics to shut down their rants. Different strokes I guess. Nice to see we all feel like we're on an island. ?
  4. I can't read this without hearing the Idiocracy narrator saying it. ??
  5. @transplantbillsfan Every time you post about how much everyone hates Trump, it makes me think of this clip.
  6. Agreed. Tons of people love the Obamas despite how bad he was for them and the country.
  7. I wouldn't call you a Bernie Bro. Those people a lunatics who froth at the mouth. You've shown yourself to be a rational thinker who has a different political view than most here. I really don't think there'd be a meltdown here but you could be right. I think Trump will win but wouldn't be shocked if he lost. I'd be much more concerned if Biden won and picked Michelle for VP because I believe that would mean she'd be President for about 10 years. I think he'd step down after accomplishing his lifelong goal and pass the torch to someone he respects.
  8. @Foxx LBSBLBGB...yikes. Might be time for a name change. Which would be oddly fitting considering what my abbreviation looks like. ?
  9. Almost half your party wants full blown socialism and the other half is buying the first half drinks and flirting almost every night. Yeah. I made your point.?
  10. You work in an industry that is far left and likely surround yourself with only politically like minded friends who all watch the same news outlets and believe the same thing. We see that as well. Most of us here would be disappointed but not shocked if Biden won. I'm pretty sure you and many of your friends would need emotional support animals for a while.
  11. Come. Give Donald a break. At least he chose one of the 57 states.
  12. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/03/03/us/elections/results-super-tuesday-primary-election.html At the time of the article. 11.5M total votes yesterday if you toss Tulsi's 84K. (All figures rounded) Biden 4.5M Bernie 3.67M Warren 1.63M Mini Mike 1.7M That's roughly 54% moderate, 46% socialist. Yeah. The Dem party is pretty far left. A moderate Dem 20 years ago would not recognize the moderates now.
  13. That's the thing a lot of confident Dems keep forgetting. They like to talk about an overwhelming majority of the population who hate Trump and will turnout to vote against him. Everyone, including me, is a victim of their own echo chambers to one extent or another. This makes them think everyone hates Trump. They only see a groundswell of support against Trump. They can't see the groundswell of support for him. They don't realize there are a lot of people like me who abstained after my choice (Cruz) lost the nomination. Then add in the number of Republicans who plugged their nose and voted for Hillary because Trump was an unknown and she was the devil you know. Trump has been a surprisingly good President so the people who voted for him before will do so again. The groups I just named will turnout to vote for Trump, especially after seeing how far left even the moderates of the Democratic party has gone. Then there's the third group that Dems will never see coming. The Democrats who are going to vote for Trump. This group goes to work or out with friends and engage in conversations about Trump regularly. They nod along as someone goes on a rant about how awful Trump is and how much worse America is now. They might even join in on the Trump bashing. They don't like his Twitter usage and don't like his personality. They tell everyone they're going to vote against Trump no matter who is against him or how crazy they seem. The part they won't say out loud is that their lives have not been negatively affected one bit. Their lives might actually be better. They actually like some things he's done. They see how crazy the media and their friends are and are actually more scared of them. They don't want these people to hate them. So they stay silent. When election day comes, they'll step behind the curtain and secretly vote for Trump. If Trump wins, they'll outwardly act shocked and upset but in reality they'll be relieved.
  14. I've gotta try to get my hands on one of these at some point. I've heard nothing but great things about it.
  15. Focal Banger is outstanding so I must find this beer now.
  16. When I go to the local beer distributor, I always look for new IPA's to try. Definitely gonna look for this.
  17. Biggest lie Dems have sold is that you need a 4 year degree and that everyone deserves to go to college. Colleges are just as accountable accepting D students who need loans, especially when they can choose majors which give you almost no reason to be hired. Some "uneducated" deplorables are some of the smartest people I know. They passed on college and learned a trade and worked a decent job without acquiring unnecessary college debt. On the opposite side of the coin, I know a few highly educated servers and retail employees who have mountains of debt and can't figure out why their liberal arts degrees aren't helping them and blame Trump.
  18. Tried this beer because the can looked cool. Pretty tasty NEIPA. Bonus Stage IPA.
