  1. They used all of today's scoring in the last game.
  2. Metaphor in elementary? I don't think we were that advanced. That sounds pretty high level. Edit. Damn't. Your response really has me laughing. Good stuff.
  3. Yup. Always the coaches fault. Or the teachers...or parents...or friends...or whatever other excuse is given to explain a lack of personal responsibility.
  4. I'm rooting for the Saints but think the Eagles will win. For those of you who liked the Trent Edwards song a couple years back, here is an Eagles fan tribute to WR Jason Avant. Warning: it is very catchy. Listen at your own risk.
  5. Just so you know. I wanted to keep him as well. I also understand why we cut him... And it's not because I think Hogan is better. Rogers talent is a whole different level than Hogans. I'm just pointing out how much people freak out over a catch or a game. Do you think that the Colts won't try to upgrade over him this offseason? Hell. He was targeted less than Hogan2.0 (Griff Whalen). Btw. I know he was Lucks college teammate. I still stand by my comparison.
  6. Remember that ONE, I repeat ONE catch Rogers had this game. What were the Bills thinking releasing such a productive player.
  7. So now an undrafted free agent rookie is comparable to a first round Biletnikoff winning WR who is one of the top receivers in the league. Makes sense...
  8. Actually, you do. One loss for non SEC teams means you are out.
  9. I don't think anyone would disagree that he's better than Hogan. If you were a rookie head coach, would you have kept a guy that was going to be your number 5 receiver that couldn't learn the playbook and is basically just there in case of injuries and for special teams. Remember, the Colts were pretty much forced to activate him from the practice squad. Let me say again before any attack, he had a ton more talent than Hogan. I wish we kept him. I also understand why we didn't. Can't give star treatment to an undrafted rookie.
  10. Its not over. If the Colts score here they're still in it. I believe they get the ball to start the second half.
  11. Are you really saying that you think Manziel is polished? Agree to disagree. Off field issues in season? None that I can think of, which is why I didn't say anything about it. He's too busy with school and football to get into trouble in season. He didn't have off field issues in season last year either of I remember correctly. Let's see how this off season goes. How about on field antics? Did you love his taunting in week one against an over matched Rice? He was goaded sure, but I expect more from a QB who's the team leader. Sumlin essentially said he needed to grow up and not hurt the team after that game. Look at how much everyone hates SJ's antics, and he's not even a QB which is held to a higher standard.
  12. I thought we cut him because he was immature and couldn't be bothered to learn the playbook on offense or special teams. Hogan was bad. I hope we replace him. Btw. I was extremely high on Rogers going into the preseason.
  13. He was impressive. EJ also led his team to 4 Bowl victories. Great leadership as well. As to JM's maturity, it's concerning to me when his own parents were worried about him going off the deep end. Winning solves everything. The only time we've ever seen him have adversity (his off season side show and subsequent criticism), he's handled it terribly.
  14. I know it's nitpicking but Da'Rick was the only guy wearing a winter hat in his intro. Keeping it classy.
  15. Anyone remember when the Chiefs D was supposedly good. Ended up 24th in the league. Another impressive looking offensive drive for KC.
  16. I agree. It made me feel like they were still in the Big East.
