  1. I responded to you and your ridiculous "we suck as fans" claim. I'm not a child so i see what you're doing. Again you ignore my first request. Please provide that. Also, that 30-40 thousand claim, please provide evidence. Also, are you really comparing a historically GREAT franchises' season ticket sales to the Bills. Good luck with that. Thanks SJBF.
  2. Jax and Houston are still only two. Three more to go. Thanks for regurgitating the same stuff. I'll respond to your request when you respond to mine. Remember, no hearsay commenter stats. Btw. Jax wasn't around during the Super Bowl era.
  3. Just because I'm not a member of The Legend of Da'Rick Rogers fan club does not mean that I can't see a point made to the contrary and respect and, in reviewing, agree with that particular take.
  4. Since you are obviously an expert on attendance, please provide five examples of Buffalo playoff games not sold out and provide evidence. You can even include the highly publicized Houston blackout. Evidence does not include a random poster saying what he might or might not remember clearly. Also, if we were a few thousand short of 80,000, is that really an indictment on the fans or is it the weather in Buffalo. I anxiously await your lack of response.
  5. I deserve that after nitpicking words with you earlier in another thread.
  6. If you say so. Smallest market, one of the largest stadiums (11th), sell out most games even though we've been terrible for over a decade. Yeah. We suck as fans.
  7. If Rogers fizzles out and does nothing next year or ever for that matter, was it still a terrible decision to cut him? Nope. I'd say it was great scouting. We'll see if he can turn his one playoff catch into something special.
  8. We're the best. Seattle pumps in crowd noise, or used to, so I'm just gonna say they still do. Go Bills!
  9. Gotcha. It's silly to be able to separate being a football fan from being a Bills fan.
  10. So because this a Bills site we can't have a discussion about other teams/players/coaches without first comparing them to the Bills. Gotcha.
  11. No. You didn't. You just sidestepped the question again and that's ok. We both think he had a really good year. I just disagree that the following stat line through the first five games is "outstanding". 79/127 62%, 163 ypg, 80.52 qb rating, 5 td, 6 int, 27 rushes for 92 yards, 0 tds. I guess your definition of outstanding play is a lot lower than mine. None of this changes the fact that I wish he was our QB.
  12. Teams always try to improve. Are you suggesting that they won't? Produce like a 3rd or 4th? That's a stretch unless you're talking about potential in which case is 1st or 2nd.
  13. I think the WR was supposed to sit down on it. Who knows though.
  14. Disagree on two fronts. Health. The announcers talked all game about how hobbled the Colts dbs were. Their number one WR was out as well. Charles would probably have been back next week. I'd say the Chiefs might have been healthier. I will also say the better team definitely won. The Chiefs D was bad this year (24th). They also lost to the Colts a couple weeks ago in KC 23-7. Name one GOOD team the Chiefs beat this year. Vick led Philly?
  15. (Bad joke alert)...You don't mess with the Zoltan.
  16. So you believe that because they're down to their 3rd string running back, that a 20-10 pass-run ratio when up 28 points is on the the D coordinators? Edit: I do agree the D was awful. But that's why they were the 24th ranked D in the regular season.
  17. I don't know who's arguing that Seattle didn't make the right choice. It certainly wasn't me. Two questions which serve as the point for my prior contention are: What is your definition of "outstanding" QB play? Can you look at Russell Wilson's stats for the first five games last year and say he was "outstanding"? Not the team. Wilson, individually.
  18. That's all well and good. I thought we were taking about actual early season game play though. Not how good he was in OTA's. If we counted OTA's, I think EJ would be considered a success. Edit: Again, I think Seattle made the right choice as well.
  19. He turned a talented 2-14 team into a playoff team. There's no way to discredit that. That said, he screwed them last night with horrible coaching decisions and clock management. You are up 28 points and proceed to go with a game plan that has a very lopsided run pass ratio. 10 Run 20 Pass while up 28 points. I don't care if you are down to your 3rd rb. That is an epic fail.
  20. False. Russell Wilson was not outstanding from day one. His first five games were very average EJ Manuel like performances where they had the playbook scaled back. They didn't give him the full thing till later in the season. Through those games, he was 4-2, which is better than EJ, but he just wasn't outstanding. I love Wilson BTW. I think he was the best QB drafted last year. I was crushed when we passed on him. Loved him at NC State and Wisconsin.
