  1. This is totally unfair. The story I've heard is that he was with friends at Publix and they saw a little Chinese girl bawling her eyes out next to a tank and his friend told him that he should go help that crushed asian...It was an honest mistake.
  2. Asked what he needs to better his situation after being busted for stealing crab legs, Winston responded, "Melted butter."
  3. Jameis Winston must really have nine lives...or at the least 8 legs. I hate myself.
  4. His contract number is pretty high going forward and he needs to be much better than last year to earn it. Mostly though, the trade Stevie talk comes from the crowd who will talk incessantly of his few drops in big situations and of his penalized on-field celebrations a few seasons back. They also REALLY hate, and can't let go, that he didn't make the effort to run down a guy he had no realistic way of catching after Tuel threw an interception last year against KC. SJ = Lightning rod.
  5. I guarantee that the following will happen in order: 1. I will have a few adult beverages while watching. 2. I'll be completely against a few specific players. 3. They'll end up drafting one of them. 4. After we choose him, I'll watch his highlight video, drink the koolaid the front office is selling, and be psyched about it. (This step in the process is greatly tied to step 1.)
  6. It will be interesting to see. After hearing Cuban's take on it being a slippery slope, I'm not so sure how they'll vote.
  7. Not to hijack the TG thread here , but I really enjoy the Hey Rookie series. It was nice getting to see EJ's cool demeanor on the sideline. I remember Marrone mentioning something in his presser after the first Pats game about how unfazed EJ was after making a mistake and how it essentially caught him off guard. Marrone wasn't kidding. I was waiting for Marrone to start shaking EJ by the shoulders and screaming "Why aren't you freaking out!"
  8. You're not alone there. I always slip into a sort of weird boredom coma every time a Sam and Gilly scene comes on.
  9. This season is building so well. The whitewalker scene at the end was great! I've been wondering when they'd finally get back to that. I'm glad Jamie took Tyrions side. I expected it, but it's still nice to see. Jon Snow's character evolution is ramping up nicely. Littlefinger is a wacko, but in a good way. The Tyrrell grandmother is awesome. So cunning. All in all another solid episode.

Awesome episode last night. Great battle scenes. King Ecbert's brilliant political strategy. Lagertha just being sexy as usual (she makes me wish it was on HBO where they could show her taking a jiggle test ). Every time I think I have a read on Floki there is something that makes me question it. I love how this show plays the bait and switch. All of the foreshadowing is leading us to believe that Horik and Floki are going to betray Ragnar by killing Bjorn. My theory is that they're setting that up so we don't see what is really coming, which is Floki gaining Horik's trust just to betray him. I love this show!
  11. My family used to have gameday parties at our house every Sunday if we didn't go to the games. They would have friends and relatives over. I just remember everyone always being so happy on Sundays. These were the Super Bowl years so there was a lot to cheer about. My most memorable Bills moment was in I believe 1992. My dad got his firms tickets on the fifty yard line 10 rows up. I was 9 and my brother was 11. He was a huge OJ Simpson fan and I liked whoever my brother liked. OJ was doing a sideline interview and my brother was screaming that he was the greatest and waving at OJ trying to get his attention. Well it worked and OJ looked up, smiled and gave my brother a big thumbs up. It was cold and he had black gloves on. Years later when he was at trial, I was convinced that the infamous glove was the same one that he wore that day in 1992.
  12. Good question. Why did you start the argument? What was the purpose? Why did you feel the need to call someone out for an emotional response they made to the article posted? To prove your ability to separate emotion from reason? Are you fighting hypocrisy? I just don't see the point of you starting the argument. I respect your right to your opinion, but why voice it here unless you either wanted a fight or you wanted to prove you're better than the revenge crowd (which would include me if a loved one was the victim).
  13. Ahh. That makes sense. It was nice last year that the coaches knew to play to his greatest strength, press coverage.
  14. There's no reason to lie to make a point FC. Every metric? Every single one?
  15. "Study long, study wrong." I love how confident he sounds. Good interview.
  16. I personally don't think RI is talented enough for the headache to be worth it. WRT the bolded, this applies to both. A guy that checked himself into a psychiatric hospital after taking a bat to his own Ferrari doesn't strike me as stable. Let's also not forget that he had to settle out of court for molesting a woman with a golf club at a charity event. That's one mess we don't need.
  17. I think you've consumed a bit too much Utica Club this morning.
  18. Sounds awful. I wonder who the evil mastermind is that FORCED these helpless victims to be cheerleaders. They should be sued too.
  19. Thanks. George is definitely more compact.
  20. Did George Wilson play receiver in the NFL ever or did he switch to safety right out of college?
