Honestly. You're so quick to declare ignorance that you couldn't even read what he wrote correctly. Who was he referring to that lived in gated communities?
12 pages clearly shows the "whole country" doesn't agree on everything. Don't mind me though. As you've stated, I support police brutality because I'm not apoplectic over Drew's comments.
He said he believes it's disrespectful. He didn't disrespect their views. He actually went on to say that he agrees that there is a lot wrong in the country. That standing together is more unifying. That's his opinion. That's not disrespectful at all. Unless you think he's guilty of wrongthink.
I'm quite serious. He believes it's disrespectful and doesn't agree with it. You FEEL that his belief makes him think he's above them. People disagree with other people that they respect pretty often.
Personally, someone stealing their neighbors stuff doesn't make me think of racial injustice. It just makes me think, "Man. I guess the nosy B word next door isn't so bad."
Drew's biggest mistake was apologizing. He stated how he felt about kneeling for the anthem. The thought police will never forgive him either way. In addition to looking insensitive to many, now he looks like a coward to many.
