Since the SAM normally goes off in most nickel packages, why wouldn't they just bring in Brown and let Kiko stay at weak? Or are you thinking they'd possibly move Kiko to MLB and bring someone like Bradham in to play in some instances?

Weird. I actually remember seeing Meeks make some nice breaks on balls in preseason but he just couldn't make the catch. I was higher on Meeks during preseason last year than I was Duke.

Just wait till Hughes lights it up again this year and we have four on next year's list.

I think the biggest effect will be on merchandising. I believe it means any Joe Schmo company can sell the team merchandise without having to kick any money to the owner of the team. We'll see how firm Snyders stance is when it hits his pocket.

Flacco was the furthest thing from a game manager when they won the Super Bowl. Check out his playoff stats that year. He was brilliant. Based on that run alone I wouldn't put Baltimore anywhere near the list, even if he has had an average career.

Great documentary. My favorite documentaries of all time are easily The Paradise Lost films made by HBO about the West Memphis Three. It is dark subject matter, but it grips you.

It's early so it's all speculation, but if Brown stays on the course he is reportedly on, he could end up being the nickel backer alongside Kiko meaning he'll see a decent amount of playing time. Ideally, if Brown plays well and gets better as the year goes on, next year he could be a starting 3 down MLB for us. Spikes has struggled against the pass and generally comes off the field in passing situations so if the tradeoff is a guy who isn't quite as good against the run but can play both run and pass pretty well, I'd take that every time.
