Good for Mario. Hopefully this will help slow down his naysayers a bit. He's had such a positive impact on this line. It appears to have really helped Hughes a ton, though I don't want to say it's all because of Mario because I've read that Hughes has really put in a lot of effort into improving as a player. I'm psyched to see if they can gel and improveb even without Pettine. I think they can.

Good points. You are right in that I am assuming his intent is not selfish in nature. I think staying in Miami all depends on Wade. I think he wants to, but if it's just to carry the full load while Wade rests half the year I think he'll look elsewhere. I also agree that he is well aware of the hired gun legacy. This is going to be an interesting offseason. Huge agents events and the best draft class since 2003. Can't wait to see how it unfolds.

Taking less money (if that's the case) to help improve the roster is exactly the type a move a leader would make. If taking less money to have a better team around you means he doesn't "get it", then I guess Tim Duncan doesn't "get it" either.

I think it's because he runs really good routes and has great hands. My favorite Woods catch all year was the two point conversion he caught against Carolina. It was a quick slant and the throw was designed to be low and away so he'd have to dive to catch it. Super tough catch that he made look easy.

Hopefully he'll drop by and let us know...

Woods is going to have a breakout season this year and show that we got two 2nd round steals in last year's draft.
