  1. Wait, didn't you use to throw on some tights singlets and get real intimate on the mats with other men? In addition, Diaz tested positive for weed.
  2. My way of viewing it is that he is not being suspended for alcohol, he is being suspended for being stupid. Only an addict or an idiot would choose to break the same rules over and over again. He says he's not an addict, and if that is to be believed, that means he's stupid. Sucks he can't drink, but it's because he's stupid. He is likely one of small number of players held to this standard, because most people aren't dumb enough to make it this far.
  3. Of course we hate him bro! What you think jobs matter?!? You gotta rep Buffalo no matter what! Gronk and Kane both gotta know the only way to be true Buffalo guys is to throw games when they play us and to never show respect to the teams they play for, only Buffalo!
  4. Josh Gordon suspended without pay for a minimum of one year. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12275102/nfl-suspends-josh-gordon-cleveland-browns-least-one-year
  5. Finally a good decision. Hopefully he gets the help he needs.
  6. I thought the same thing. He's taken a few to the head, that last one looking pretty bad.
  7. For a minute i thought "Oh great, another Bills preseason castoff showing up big for another team", then remembered that was Chris Summers.
  8. Now there's another reason not to go to McDonald's besides it just being awful.
  9. I think he can. They'll occasionally struggle when facing teams with secondaries like NE's, but the rest of the time he'll make up the difference.
  10. I agree and I think Seattle is willing to live with Wilson having to compensate.
  11. He has NO receivers or tight ends. The entire passing game is all him.
  12. Seattle's lack of good receivers is showing big right now.
  13. He should have done the interview and just answered every question "I'm just here so the fans don't cry." Everyone would have loved it. It's what the cool kids are doing these days.
  14. I'm not optimistic about Hughes re-signing because it seems like it is going to cost too much. This will open up money at other positions. Dareus is obviously the number one priority but after him I think the front office would be smart to start negotiating with Bradham before next season. Bradham has excelled since getting his opportunity to play. He hits like a truck and can stay with tight ends in coverage because he has good speed. He also has a bit of a mean streak in him, which I like. I feel the same way about him as I did Aaron Williams last year in that I believe he's a guy that is about to break out as one of the best at his position in the league. Lock him up now at a team friendly cost before his price gets too high. Edit: I think that signing Glenn and Gilmore are important too I just feel that they have already hit a point where they will require bigger deals. Bradham they might be able to get for a few extra years at a discount if they act fast.
  15. It's official, there is never going to be another middleweight title fight. Weidman out of 2/28 title fight. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mma-cagewriter/chris-weidman-injured--title-defense-versus-vitor-belfort-at-ufc-184-is-off-002712213.html
  16. No. Would cost too much and at his age it's just not worth it.
  17. Wow! Gastelum comes in 9 lbs over! If he doesn't have an injury this just looks bad. Rest of the results at the link... http://www.mmamania.com/2015/1/30/7945497/video-ufc-183-weigh-in-results-anderson-silva-vs-nick-diaz-live-stream-updates-las-vegas-mma
  18. You're likely right, but I'm still curious to see if he bucks the trend and comes back strong. What I don't want to see is what is happening to Dan Henderson right now. Someone needs to force him to stop for his own good.
  19. Tomorrow night marks the return of two of the sports most polarizing fighters, when Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz square off in the main event of UFC 183. Both are coming off of long layoffs. Silva, who many consider the GOAT (GSP for my money), is returning from one of the most gruesome leg injuries I've ever seen while trying to reclaim his title back in December 2013. Diaz hasn't fought since he quasi-retired after losing in his title bid against GSP back in March 2013. When the fight was first announced, my reaction was, "meh". As it has gotten closer though, I've become more intrigued by the match up. On paper, it would appear as though Silva should destroy Diaz. Diaz is moving up a weight class to face off at 185 against Silva, who has always been a big middleweight. Silva's had multiple fights at light heavyweight even. The size advantage is hugely in Silva's favor. Both have great boxing, but Silva has more power. What Diaz will lack in size, he'll make up for in toughness and will. It is one of the reasons he is such a big fan favorite. He always comes to scrap, and has a rock solid chin. His cardio is elite. He never tires and turns up his punches in bunches as the fight goes on. The other reason he's so loved (and hated) by the fans is because of his contempt for corporate mma and the media. He was pulling the Marshawn Lynch act before Marshawn Lynch. A lot of questions will be answered tomorrow. Will either fighter have ring rust? Will Silva fight with no regard for his leg? Will Diaz shake off a punch by talking sh*t to Silva like he has every other fighter? Is either capable of another title shot run? If Diaz can drag it to the later round, this is going to be a great fight. The further it goes the better chance Diaz has. My prediction, Silva by 2nd round knockout. Tyron Woodley vs Kelvin Gastelum in the co main event should be a great fight as well. Two athletic wrestlers with knockout power. I've got Woodley putting the first notch in Gastelum's loss column. Anyone else going to be watching?
