  1. I've heard that about LeBron as well. From the trailers I've seen, he seems to be playing an overly sensitive/effeminate version of himself, so maybe that is what is so funny about it. Seeing him embrace a portrayal of himself that is so different from what he's really like. A similar situation would be how NPH went the hilarious psycho route in Harold and Kumar.
  2. But look how that ended up. Fighting with Eminem and his crew and getting busted for cocaine. Bad decisions man, bad decisions.
  3. Trainwreck does look awesome. Schumer is on fire!
  4. I'm really psyched to see "The Stanford Prison Experiment", an independent movie that is getting some good Sundance hype. The trailer literally gave me goosebumps. Hits select theaters on 7/17 and then Video On Demand on 7/24.
  5. Battle commits to Cuse! http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/13249042/tyus-battle-selects-syracuse-orange-decommitting-michigan-wolverines Beat me to it!
  6. That's a really good point. I don't always give enough credit to the other team involved. They did both play pretty well and it is likely a bigger game for them than the U.S. I'm a big fan of Yedlin. I think he's starting to come into his own pretty well.
  7. I wish it wasn't on so late. We need to pay a lot better than we have been. That was a great play by Zardes to hit Dempsey for the goal last game but aside from that, they didn't look that good.
  8. I'd really like to see him fight Edgar as well. McGregor will either have to beat Aldo or Aldo will have to be out long enough for McGregor to have to defend his interim belt though. Frankie is the #1 contender (he was before Mendes fought McGregor) and is in line for a title shot.
  9. Hater? Nah. I think he's great for the UFC. I just strongly believe Mendes would win if they both came in with equal camps training for each other. McGregor has proven he deserves to be grouped with the other 3 at the top of the division. They are all basically in a different league from everyone else. Should be a fun couple years for that division.
  10. You make fair points. 1. I watched the fight again earlier and I didn't see any strike that looked like it could have affected his cardio that badly. It did look like he had an adrenaline dump (McGregor too to an extent) and that didn't help. Even being in shape like Mendes was, being ready for a 5 round fight like this on two weeks notice will affect his cardio. I think many things factored into his gassing. 2. You're right. I'm sure he didn't spend a ton of time on takedown defense preparing for Aldo. McGregor could have prepared better for a wrestler with more time, but preparing for a wrestler like Mendes would take years of training. McGregor seems like the type of athlete who can adapt, it'll just take time. This fight could end up being a great lesson for Conor. He'll be more likely to get his wrestling on point, because he sees what can happen against an elite wrestler, even a gassed one.
  11. My brother was a pretty good kicker. Went to some camps for it when he was being recruited. I watched a high school kid hit a 70 yarder at one of the camps, so this doesn't surprise me. There's no OL or rush to go over, so it's much easier to hit because you can just strike for distance. There was also a pretty good amount of wind which helps the kid in the video. Either way, it's impressive.
  12. There is so much to be excited about heading into camp. I think Gilmore will be a star. He's already a borderline shutdown corner, he'll just get the recognition now. I can't wait for camp to start so we know more about the QB situation. Go Bills!
  13. Pretty excited for it. Last season started pretty slow, but by the end I anxiously awaited each new episode.
  14. McGregor's takedown defense was crap. He bottom game wasn't that good either. The elbows he landed from bottom that caused the most damage were illegal 12-6 elbows. He was warned for it, but the damage was done. The biggest reason McGregor won was because Mendes gassed badly. If Mendes had more than two weeks to get his cardio together, he would have destroyed McGregor IMO. He went 5 rounds against Aldo with no endurance problems. McGregor vs Edgar/Aldo should be fun.
  15. I can understand that. I personally just hate them more than the Patriots. I can't stand the condescension from Giants fans about the three Super Bowl victories that were gifted to them.
  16. F@$% the Giants! I hate them and their fans. Lucky sacks of s@&%.
  17. I Googled to see if I could find a better quality video. I was shocked to see that the first two links I clicked on weren't the same video. People be crazy... http://m.nydailynews.com/news/crime/michigan-girl-19-wanted-running-rival-fight-article-1.2178621 And then... http://www.barstoolsports.com/chicago/street-fight-quickly-turns-into-everyone-gets-hit-by-a-car-fight/
  18. Love seeing stuff like this. Guys that already have all the physical gifts putting in extra work to try to be great.
  19. I found that weird too. What be did, putting his arm out to a section of the bar to hold his place, is a common move.
  20. You make good points. There was another play where he cut hard and completely juked the defender and al he had to do was hit a short pass to Dempsey or Bradley who were both running in undefended, but instead he decided to cut again and lost the ball. If he isn't in top shape, maybe they should sit him.
  21. Why sit Jozy? He's such a physical force up front, it makes up for his selfish play...a little.
  22. There are a few challengers who I could possibly agree with, Wayne being one of them. I'll stick with Serena though.
  23. I can stop drinking whenever I want to. It's not like I'm addicted, it's just nice to throw some back after a long hard day......I've got it under control.....I swear!
