Kromer has been accused of hitting a woman now too? That poster said "character" is not a big deal to most of us, I responded specifically to that. For reference, he thought Dareus should have been run out of town for character issues. Still, we don't know happened. We do know that it was a 3 on 2 situation and that Kromer dotted a teens eye and his son grabbed one by the neck, allegedly. If the kids were all about 17 and acting like punks, this is a non issue IMO. It would be a much bigger deal to me if the kids were 13 in the same scenario.

There seems to be a lot of character in the Bills organization, which is why I don't worry about a virtually unknown (to non fanatics) OL coach tarnishing that reputation. It's like a mosquito bite. If you eliminate every person with character flaws from every place of employment, there would be no work force. FTR, I still haven't decided if what Kromer did is that egregious yet. We don't know the whole story. It doesn't look great, but we still don't know what led to it. He is rightfully suspended while the organization waits for more info.

The scenario I keep envisioning is much like the skater vs security guard videos you can see online. A group of kids messing around where they shouldn't (in this case, with something they shouldn't) and a security guard (Kromer) confronts them. The kids don't take him seriously and just make fun of the crazy old man who cares way too much. Things get heated. The security guard who didn't grab/hit the kid (Kromer's son), sticks around to do damage control after the confrontation.

They have been bad. I've got to give you credit. I never realized how bad Chandler was til you pointed it out, but he's been atrocious all tourney.

The officiating has been pathetic so far. I'm biased, but it sure as hell seems like USA is on the receiving end of most of the bad calls. It's getting real chippy too. For a minute, I thought Gomez was going to swing on Wondolowski.
