  1. It seems you're only thinking of the missed deep balls. Sammy was open underneath all game too. Brady wasn't missing those throws to Amendola. Tyrod wasn't taking those throws, or even looking at him for that matter.
  2. Darby pulled up as soon as the whistle was blown, he would have been there for the tackle.
  3. Brady would have all day and we'd be called for illegal contact.
  4. He just can't let go. https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/report-peyton-manning-intends-play-134200259.html
  5. The Bills will B word slap the Chiefs.
  6. IIRC, he was the star of OTA's and early training camp.
  7. In fairness, I thought he would do well there too. Voted for him over Chandler in that thread.
  8. The Spiller thread is waiting for you...
  9. He has not played up to my expectations. I never said he'd have a monster year though, I just thought that he wasn't nearly as bad as you claimed him to be.
  10. Mixed feelings about that game. It is always good to see a win, but the half court offense struggled mightily. Richardson looks as good as advertised and Lydon looks like he's going to be a really good young player. Big kid with a good outside shot. While watching, I kept thinking of Ricky Roe in the movie "Blue Chips".
  11. Her striking is raw, but has gotten much better. She fought a world class striker. She is a world class judo practitioner. This is how these fights tend to go. If both are decently well rounded, the greater skill will generally prevail. It's why wrestler vs boxer is normally such a good watch. I'm not sure how well rounded Holm is all based on the fights I've seen. We didn't get to see much of her grappling game this fight because of the tone Rousey set. All credit to Holm for taking advantage of it. She was awesome.
  12. I'm more of a Tate fan. She knocked out Coreira, Davis and McMann. All in title fights. It seems like you're trolling. If not, you're saying that every woman in the UFC bantamweight division other than Holm is not a real fighter. Which is...
  13. 3 of her last 4 victories were KO/TKO. Nothing. The steroids prevent her from dropping the required amount of weight.
  14. I think Zingano has the knockout power, we just didn't get to see her test Rousey's chin because she was too hyped up and ran right into a throw. She is a very strong striker, but not on Holm's level. That said, Holm has not looked even close to as good she did against Rousey in her prior UFC fights. Having only seen her in those, I thought she would get destroyed by Rousey. Raquel Pennington took her to a split decision, and she is not very good. Then her second fight was against someone I had never heard of and underwhelmed again. She was a beast this fight. I'm not convinced that it will go the same if they fight again. I don't think Holm's grappling would hold up against Rousey if that is the fight Ronda brings. If Rousey comes in super aggressive, ready to redeem herself on her feet she will get knocked out again. You're 100% correct about the holes in her standup game. If she dirties the fight up next time, I think her grappling will win it for her. Regardless, Holm winning was a great thing for the division in my opinion. Maybe not publicity-wise, but for competitive balance. If Ronda has a year absence, I'd love to see Holm fight Tate. I think that would be a great fight, unless Tate is overconfident in her hands too.
  15. Ronda has beaten plenty of real MMA fighters. Styles make fights. Rousey is a world class athlete who will come back stronger and with a better gameplan. Will it be enough? We'll see. She definitely will not underestimate Holm's striking next time.
  16. I'm pretty sure they just stole the plan from the Replacements. Just add techno music and strobe lights. "Yo soy fiesta!"
