  1. Mark Stone is one of the most underrrated players in the league.
  2. Damn't. That's what I get for reading a hockey thread before watching the game I recorded last night. At least they won though!
  3. Another disappointing game. D went back to being lazy again last night.
  4. I went through his timeline and didn't see that tweet.
  5. Agreed. Roberson has been a monster on D. Thompson still looks a little lost on D. Battle is really starting to put it together.
  6. Hopefully we see more of what we did the other night. I want Lydon to start at the 5 with Thompson at the 4, with Roberson giving energy and rebounding off the bench. Let's go SU!
  7. Yeah. That was a really bad trade for you guys. That 21st pick we got was Colin White. Luckily for me, they have said they're both almost untouchable in a trade. I've been surprised that things haven't come together more for you guys. I was thinking they'd be in position for a wild card spot. I know the Sabres have been devastated by injuries, but I thought they had some nice pieces with Reinhart and Risto really coming on last year and bringing in Okposo. Maybe once they're healthy they'll go on a run. He definitely was. I'm still glad we sent him back down for one more year to develop though.
  8. As a Sens fan, I'm pretty encouraged by how Colin White and Thomas Chabot looked in WJC tourney.
  9. I feel similarly, but the bolded is why I would want to move on. If he's not playoff caliber, try someone new. I don't think Tyrod will ever get much better at seeing the field. His injury risk will go up each year as he gets older though. WGR gave a stat the other day that for the year, he only attempted 33 passes more than 10 yards downfield between the hashmarks. His athleticism helps the run game and his scrambling allows him to somewhat make up for this deficiency, but it's crazy to think about how much of the field doesn't need to be defended against him.
  10. It was like an entirely fifteenth different team defensively last night. Lydon was an animal in the second half. I agree with you, JH. Lydon should be the #5, with Thompson and Roberson playing the 4.
  11. They've gotta keep getting Lydon the ball here.
  12. Coaches make players better, but without the talent as a foundation, coaching can only go so far.
  13. Interesting...but I'm pretty sure this just another LAMP thread (one of many) about how a good safety has a big impact on the play of the defense. Just a tip. Be original. Start a Whaley thread so that everyone knows how YOU feel about him.
  14. True. Russell, Kirk and Dak have made it the sexiest option. Best wishes to Eeeeej.
  15. You're right about rookies being a cheaper alternative, but I would think EJ would adjust his cost to the perceived value to stay in the league. His experience, be it limited, in addition to his willingness to do what's best for the team, could be valued a little higher. We will see.
  16. Kirby asked about the Titans. Manuel would be more comformable in an offense designed for Mariotta IMO, because he's a much better athlete than Cassel.
  17. No argument. It's a personal preference thing. Manuel is more similar to Mariotta. Id rather have my back up be a similar gameplan if they're equally bad.
  18. Yes. He's a top 64 QB in the league and works well with the starter (one who took his job).
