Could definitely happen if no one trades for him. To paraphrase Whaley: 1. We will let no stone unturned in our search for a franchise QB. 2. We would take a QB in this draft if we felt... 3. The gap between the top two QB's and the next one is not as large as some think. (That one was a bit of an attention grabber to me, although I did not actually hear the audio. Anybody hear it?). 4. The draft class will have a tough time finding a starting spot. 5. To the question last off season, how many games will it take to determine if you have a franchise quarterback or not Whaley says "16 games". Does Whaley seem like the type of guy that's afraid to make a bold move and move on from a QB if he has another one to develop that he feels more strongly about this? Not at all to me.not saying it will happen just saying I won't be surprised.

I agree with you Kirby. I would love to be wrong and have EJ turn into even a good starter this year, but I get the sense that there is a fairly good chance he may not even be on our roster come training camp. If we draft Grayson/Petty/Hundley, I could see us letting them develop under Cassell and Taylor. we could very well trade or cut EJ if Whaley/Roman/Ryan feel Taylor could be back up. would be very difficult to develop EJ and a rookie QB effectively. Me too, but that was a very good throw in a very good play call with a good situation it presented a very decent open target. he shouldn't miss that one...his first read was there and he delivered..that's not his weakness normally.

Winner. Winner. Chicken Dinner. -
A QB, OL help, impact TE, and a new coaching staff! That is it! PS. Maybe some kickoff specialist depth

True cost of Bills' Watkins trade
TDRupp replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do not forget the other key. Kickoff the deep or out of the end zone after reach FG! -
First of all, I did not know the word Neither was Copyrighted. I am glad you did that on behalf of all us Bills fans. Neither is my answer. P.S. If I had to choose or be shot, that would be easy: Packers. Small market, middle class america in a northern city. P.P. S. I hope we kick their ass next week to keep the dream alive for another week.

Refs Fist Bump After Broncos TD
TDRupp replied to Braedenstearns's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Co-workers fist bumping after collaborating on work and their satisfaction that they got the call right with all important information considered. Makes sense right? You honestly think it could be different? Damn, they are professional refs. I do not think they world be do stupid to be fist bumping b/c they are happy Denver scored. -
Correct. he is slower is probably banged up some but "Dead Legs"? Yes. One o I best move is doing dead legs, catching the defender off balance and driving through him for3 +yards. That is his move!

Snowstorm lies and exagerated blizzard stories

Yep. I also heard that the guy that was arrested for riding a railing and falling off onto fans below will be charged $200 for admission and forced to make the first safety test runs. -
Kraig Urbik appears to have been freed
TDRupp replied to The Big Cat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
either PFF does not know how to Grade players or the Bills, especially Marone and Morris seriously have something against Urbik's style or something in his personality. He is on the PFF All AFC-East team for 2013 https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2014/01/20/2013-pff-all-afc-east-team/ -
I say Yes. I say that b/c I would much rather have Sammy over Ebron who the Bills would have reportedly picked. Much tougher call is ODB jr. and the picks. I still glad we make the trade. if we feel there is a QB worth picking in the 1st do what you have to do to get him. i am not sure the Rams release Bradford. hope so though.

Bills Working Out Kouandjio at Guard

No, no, no. That is not fair. They only meant March through August. -
Who is the 2nd best Quarterback in the AFC-East ?
TDRupp replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I doubt you can say he is second best but I would take Jimmy G from NE right now over anyone on that list. -
Angst in New England - Love It
TDRupp replied to Stormin Norman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hate to say it but I have the bad feeling that Jimmy G guy turns out to be a franchise QB for them... maybe by the end of next year. -
Listen, I am not CJ hater. I love his big plays, his unselfish team first attitude, and that he basically a really damn good guy. Class act. However, I do not think he fits the physical power running game offense the Bills are trying to build. But those are my thoughts. Here are the Bills' ACTIONS. The Bills singed Bobby Dixon to a 3 year deal. I know his Special Teams are a focus but still gets 3rd string RB carries. The Bills signed Fred Jackson to a deal that has him sined thru 2015. The Bills reportedly tried to trade back into the 2nd round to select power-speed back Carlos Hyde. After failing to get Hyde, the Bills traded a draft pick for power-speed back Bryce Brown. During the preseason Doug Marrone states and paraphase, "no, I am not surprised by Bryce's performance. Most of the games I have seen him in, he is usually one of the most talented players on the field". Bryce Brown is a healthy Inactive for the first 3 games. Why do you trade for Bryce Brown and sit him on the bench? Sure, the Bills live to run the ball and they could be safe guarding just for depth for this year's run at the playoffs. That said I really believe they could be willing to trade him before the deadline or just not resign him unless it is for reasonable money this coming off season. This is not "crap". Very real possibilities but we will see how it goes down. Peace. Go Bills! Agreed. Very good points about misuse. Put him in NO, Philly, possibly GB and he will be much better suited. He needs to be in a spread offense. Remember we already traded our "best" WR b/c he did not for our offense. i

Winner. Winner. Chicken dinner. This is exactly why the NFL and NFLPA agreed to the no renegotiated contracts/performance based pay system for players with.less than 3 years. Save more pie for the older verterans.

What the "experts" are saying this week re the Bills/Fins
TDRupp replied to CodeMonkey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not being snippy but did you actually see the fins pats game? Would love to know how much was on Brady vs OL and WRs. -
Nope. Mary is the Bills' owner. The "Buffalo Marys 23. Chicago Bears 20. OT" game
-
Kate Gleason would and probably would kick Bucky's ass! Check up on your Rochester history gentlemen. She would be proud of Kim.

They did well yesterday. The heavily slanted mix towards run over pass indeed helped the pass blocking. I give them a B+ or A- for yesterday's work. For the Miami game the thing I am most concerned about is a Cameron Wake vs. Henderson matchup. Did you see some of the highlights of that guy blowing by the Pats RT?! Dude was shot out of a cannon!

Joe B, Wawrow, Sal, and Gaughn in that order. -
No but that investment in Colby Way is unforgivable!

Never realized this, but Marshawn Lynch is fat!

CJ is nothing but a fancy china doll! -
Maybe so if they do not offer what Whaley thinks is sufficient then ... I have recently come surround to this guy... I would want Zach Martin OT ND. Take his teammate, Triy Nikolas TE or Cody Lattimore WR at 41. CB, LB or DE at in the third.

Will we put our money where our mouth is when the time comes?

I have heard and read about the Buffalo Fan Alliance before but I did just go to their website and took their survey. Good stuff! http://www.buffalofanalliance.org/buffalofan/HOME.html Go Bills!
