  1. I don't THINK they will use the white helmet. It is an alternate JERSEY not helmet, IMHO. I could be wrong and do think the white with standing buffalo would be very cool!
  2. I agree. Bingo. Let him compete and who says he (or all the other guards) make it to St. John Fischer? I think we could add a Tackle after June 1 and then release a guard if necessary.
  3. I really wanted that guy on the Bills if at all possible before seeing that reel. Now... well, just watch the highlight reel. Pretty self explanatory (e.g. big time play maker). Thanks!
  4. No, I am not kidding about the Vikings not needing a starting RB. Is their offense going to be as good as it was with Moss? No. Will Burelson post numbers like last year with their 1st rounder (WR) instead of Moss? No. But, will it be "ok" based on the fact they won't need to score as much b/c of their improved D-fense? Yes. You stated they need a starting RB and should trade for Henry. I say they won't even consider it unless 2 of the 4 remaining RB's "drop". O Smith has already been suspended for 1 year but the cobmination of the other 4 will be just fine, IMHO.
  5. No. They DON'T NEED a starting running back because, as Ramius put it, "they have michael bennett, moe williams, mewelde moore, and they drafted ciatrick fason". And they have Culpepper at QB - tough running QB and grat downfield passer even with out Moss. There is no "moss" in "team", right? They are just fine at RB. Trust me.
  6. Agreed. I bet it would be real entertaining to watch 42 humans torn apart by a lion. Just hilarious. Just plain sick. I would tend to agree with your suspicion and think we should sanaction the Cambodian government in some way.
  7. I have to disagree that TD would rather release him than take a 5th rounder (or 6th or 7th) for him. I believe TD will either trade him or keep him for at least part of this year if not the entire year. If henry does not play and wants to sit, I don't think that will force a release, IMHO.
  8. Thoughts and Prayers to you. Fight bro, fight! take care.
  9. I say, let who we have already battle it out. If henry gets traded then pcik up another young vet to complete and let the cream rise to the top.
  10. All right guys. BE HONEST. I know we all are smarter than TD so who DID you want the Bills to select with the 4th pick in the 2002 draft? I was okay with Mike Williams. I liked him but really wanted TD to take Roy Williams. I also would not have minded tradin down to get one of the following: W. Bryant, J Henderson, E Reed or P Ramsey. At this point I was 2 for 4 on those but I figured Roy Williams was a pretty sure bet. That said, I think Mike Williams still could be a pro bowler in 1-2 years, I just hate his cap hit this year. $9.8M. By the way who KNOWS his cap hit for 2006 if no changes are made AND can break it down into Amortized Bonuses, Salary, other Bonuses? Thanks if you do.
  11. So far, I think it was the single best off season move by TD. That said, I was not crazy about drafting Parrish (just think we could have better starting WR material or CB material -ie. Justin Miller, from that pick long term than Parrish) and not trying to sign Pat Williams, I think he has done a good job to put us in a postion to compete this year. Next year, we will have two young guys on the OL that will compete for starting jobs (JG and DP) and possibly even a guy that could step into the third CB role in King.
  12. 1-2 years, but really who cares. He MAY be a good fit for them and he might not. The Bills made their decision on Bledsoe and for awhile he definitely helped this team and it was not ultimately successful (no playoofs, no SB) but they have moved on and now we need to. I think THE most important pick-up this year is Holcomb. We don'k KNOW how durable JP will be and having Holcomb come in if necessary will not kill our chance to compete for a playoff birth. He could become very valuable. I am rooting against that and hope JP stays healthy and productive but for this team he could be huge.
  13. Who is Gauss by the way? I know Ware was Dallas' 1st round OLB/DE, right? He might have a chance at OT... Interesting and I did not know he played well in the Senior Bowl. How did he practice, anybody read anything about that?
  14. I will change my vote to this option as well. However, I think there is a fair (35%, IMO) that Duke Preston is starting at center by year's end and definitely by 2006. Tucker back to backup G and C spots unless Bennie underperforms.
  15. Pray for their father but I do wich his kids well. Hope his son makes it to Div I college as QB. That would be cool. Also, his daughter is a cute kid. http://www.modelwerk.de/modelwerk.php3?mod...h&gender=female She is in Set 16, Kristen Ferguson. (keep it cool guys, her dad is sick...) Good luck to them both!
  16. Thoughts and prayers to you, Joe. Fight it Joe!
  17. By the way, thanks for the link back.
  18. I agree on Henry unless someone goes down in training camp and we get offered the 2nd/3rd rounder TD was looking for AND he feels like a FA pickup, Shaud and/or Gates can handle it. It will be interesting to see if Henry does indeed come back to his senses and report to the Bills. I know it makes sense that he would but how many times do we see atheletes/agents make poor decisions. I do agree if Henry wants to not show up, play hard for his $1.5M then let him sit b/c there is no way I'd trade him for a 5th rounder. Maybe a 4th the potential for a conditional 5th OR a decent player. Otherwise he can play or rot. His choice. Let's face it, he knows the offense and there is no guarantee McGahee stays healthy for 16 games this year! Nope. Last name is actually Rupprecht. And I am not related to Rupprecht The Monkey Boy (from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) or Konect Rupprecht (the guy who gives out coal and carries a switch for bad boys and girls when making rounds with Saint Nichlas in German folklore). ;-) Go Bills! Peace!
  19. B F NY: Great post and a nice history lesson about TBD. Seriously. Lets enjoy this thing here. AKC: Talk to me! If you stated in other threads, I am sorry, but what is your take on the back-up RB job. With TH and if you go that way, what about if TD gets something for TH and he is gone. What guys do you want backing up Willis?
  20. I have known AJZ from the TBD for just over a couple of hours now (I guess I have read his posts for quite a while longer) and have never known him to be dishonest either. By the way, moving on does not mean you aren't coming back I hope. Newbies are welcome, at least I coming anyway! Go Bills! Peace!
  21. Ah, yes. Nate is the playmaker and now remember him being referred to as such. He is! I think TD should step up to the plate for this guy unless Nate's agent goes nuts. The bad thing about these contracts that are for 5 years $30Million are in the last 2-3 years. The guy whose is still often a "good" player but almost always will not be worth the $4-7 million in salary a year. I hope Moulds does not have one of his off odd years again this year. Reagrdless, I definitely want him back next year if he is healthy.
  22. I have been reading for a long time and not posting much until recently. I pick my spots -too busy to do either a lot. I do like the good healthy debates here! Peace!
  23. Is the "playmaker" SamAdams? Sorry if I missed it previously, if so. I do have confidence in Tom D but I don't always agree with him. We will have some Cap room next year but with Clements, Adams and Edwards (we might care more later) becoming UFA's and having a first rounder at this point the money wil go quickly to resign these guys or potentially sign others. it will be interesting to see if/how he approaches Moulds and Mike Williams on taking some kind of cuts and/or restructures...
  24. Hmm. just found it - he is an UFA. I am a bit surprised that AZ has not been brought in yet. I have real doubts that we can trade TH but if so I bet he comes in for a look see pretty quickly...
  25. I voted keep Henry but my first choice is let Shaud Will and our 7 rndr from Louisville battle. However, a closer look at Amos Z shows me he could be a nice 3rd down back and a fair guy to carry the load for a couple of games if need be but there is where we run into trouble if Mcgahee gets hurt for than 2 games. No feature guy w/o Henry. We would need to spead it around a lot which with the 3 and 4 receiver sets we might run would work to a certain level. By the way, is Amos Z an UFA or a possibly June 1 cas??
