  1. I just wanna say it was a great time yesterday at Hammers Lot. Met a lot of awesome Bills fans, including Hammer himself. Had literally zero issues there and while inside. Bills fans were great. Not sure where the bad rap comes from. I will definitely be back next season. Congratulations on the W. This is me paying up my debt aka the Jets loss, with my friends Del and Leslie. Ay yi yi. Figured ya'll would get a kick out of it as well....
  2. Yes we do. My concern is how well we will be able to run on you. It was so-so in the first meeting and really we took advantage of your banged up secondary, which is now healthy. Without that who knows how the game goes. I know Holmes won't be guarded by some fifth string CB this time around and he's not 100%. He hasn't played since September. Can anyone tell me about your WR's after Graham and Goodwin. I know those two are speedsters. What about the rest? If Stevie can't go they'll have to play a big role I would think. What are their strengths?
  3. That's a great idea for player safety, but I don't think that will ever happen. They need to stop putting divisional games on Thursday Night though. Far too much invested in those six games per season to be played on three days rest.
  4. Haha, very true.
  5. Thank you. As of others have pointed out, aside from the MNF game in Atlanta we have been putrid on the road, including two blowout loses to Tennessee and Cincinnati. Teams like the Jets and Bills - young teams led by rookie QBs - are often much better at home. There's no surprise to me that we're 4-1 at home and 1-3 on the road. Sunday is going to be a very good game and the fact that this time around your secondary has it's playmaker (Byrd) can only help your cause. It will likely come down to how well we're able to run it and if our secondary is able to lock up Graham and Goodwin at the LOS, because if they get a clean break they'll be running with the DB's 3 yards behind every time. When you think of our secondary, especially with a nicked up Cro (hip), you don't exactly thing speed. We haven't been able to cover a TE, let alone a slot WR, in years.
  6. Thank you! See you there. I definitely have to walk over and say hi to Ken. I'm sure he doesn't remember a group of Jets fans from a few years ago as he goes freaking everywhere.
  7. I.
  8. i Our defense is not that good. EJ will be able to throw on us. As soon as we got our DL in check our secondary became ****. I am expecting a Jet W but would not be surprised to see y'all pull this one out.
  9. Yeah, Holmes going down turned out to be a blessing in surprise because it led us to Nelson. Hill has not developed like we had hoped (he only shows up against you guys) and our No4 and 5 WR's in the Preseason did nothing. We had high hopes for a kid named Ryan Spadola and after he dropped a ball vs NE his pink slip was waiting for him and now he's nowhere.
  10. Yeah. Chandler burned us Week 3, as all TE's do. That's been the flaw with Rex's D's these five years. We have never been able to stop a TE. Ever.
  11. He's been a pleasant surprise for us. Outside of Holmes and Kerley, who is now injured and out until at least early December, we have dick at WR. Nothing. Thankfully Holmes returns Sunday. Nelson has been solid. Still not sure why he was let go by Buffalo. I'm guessing so that players like Woods, Graham and Goodwin would have more time - but why not keep him as a No.5?
  12. As a Jet fan I'm concered about this game. 1. As with all young QBs/teams, we play a hell of a lot better at home (4-1) than we do on the road (1-3). 2. Buffalo has a legitimate pass rush. 3. EJ Manuel has played better at home than he has on the road AND although it was ugly he knocked the rust off last week and should be a hell of a lot better and more in tune with your offense this week.4 4. In the Rex Ryan era we are 1-3 coming off of the Bye. Bills have a heck of a shot to knock us off here. It will not come easy. I'm excited to make the trip up North for the game though.
  13. LOL. I already have BBQ sauce on it. Why not a little Ketchup. Nothing like Ken gets on his though. He's covered from the pictures I've seen. I'll keep that in mind about the Local Brewed IPA. Will have to find a liquor store near my hotel. Are you the same guy who runs the Hammers Lot Twitter account? I think we spoke on there.
  14. I'm a Jet fan and I believe you'll win this game. Big. So, there's that. The only match-up Pittsburgh has on you is your secondary vs. Ben escaping pressure. Believe me, that's how they beat (and shocked) us. Keep the deep ball under control and you'll walk out winners. And I hope you do. I have no animoisity towards Buffalo. Best of luck.
  15. Driving. There are five of us driving up in three cars, but we'll probably just consolidate into one or two for the game. Thank you for all of the information. I know I read Big Tree Road is closed one way on game day so we'll have to loop around from where our hotel is. Definitely plan on being at/in my seats by 12 at the latest because of that reason. Thank you for the welcome. Awesome. Looking forward to it. Thanks.
