Lewis might be in for Rapp if he can't go. I think some of these will play on Sunday.

Steelers @ Bills. Monday, January 15th at 4:30pm.

He's answering the question without saying anything. Not giving the media anything to work with and keeping the door closed. That's my interpretation. These same media guys said he couldn't go deep and get open anymore. He beat Ramsey badly and caught a long pass against Apple. -
If McD changes anything on D, he'll likely promote someone already on board. Babich, Washinton, or Butler. My guess is he changes nothing on D. They're kicking butt.

He hates the Bills. His opinion about Bills is pretty much negative all the time.

List of players under contract and Free Agents in 2024
juno999 replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Joe Marino had Greg Thompsett on his podcast a couple of weeks ago. Thompsett stated the Bills were $29M over the cap for 2024. He did not cite where he the number came from. Thompsett said the Bills could make a few salary moves with Allen, Diggs and McGovern to get under the cap. Bills have 9 draft picks but will get awarded another one for Edmunds. 44 players under contract is a great start. -

I believe the Bills may bring Hines back as KR/PR and RB. His $5M cap hit has no guaranteed money so Bills may guarantee some of his salary along with a pay cut. Hines may replace Hardy on the roster. -
Pats have a stud in Barmore

I always viewed Brady as a guy who has a 7 + game opportunity to show what's he got as an OC. They are 5 - 1, the passing game is not great but the offense in general seems better. Not sure if Brady is that much better than Dorsey or if Dorsey was truly bad. I'm on the fence with Brady right now.

Last 4 games WR's average 107 yards total per game
juno999 replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
At least 3 drops - Sherfield, Cook, and Murray. Diggs was open on one overthrow. Threw behind Knox but drew a penalty. Shakir and Kincaid had good games. Passing game isn't great right now but Allen is not seeing guys who are open. A season long problem. Plus his interception was terrible. I was at the game, the receiver (Diggs?) was never open. -
The last drive, killing the clock, and ending the game - awesome!
-
Allen is missing open receivers. He either doesn't see open guys or misses on the throw. They need at least one receiver probably two but it's not just the receivers that are a problem in the passing game.

Some hard choices for Beane on the D-Line
juno999 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
I believe Beane will re-sign AJ. He'll find enough $ to make it happen. Draft, develop, and re-sign is what Beane is all about. They can extend Douglas, has 1 yr left at $9M with no guaranteed $, and likely lower his cap hit in 2024. - re-sign D. Jones - 5th year option Rousseau - let Miller go after 2024 imo but maybe sooner - Floyd, Settle, Ford, Phillips, Joseph are likely gone Draft a DT, DE, and S. Hopefully after they draft a WR in the first. Beane will likely angle the comp pick game again I believe. If they don't/can't sign AJ, then they'll have Epenesa, Davis, and maybe Floyd get good contracts to yield extra draft picks. -
Bills won and Fish lost. The two most important things today. Yeah the Bills did not look good on offense today but they made enough plays and won. The Patriots are actually pretty good on defense and division games are usually pretty tough. So I'll take the win and hope Allen plays better against the Fish.
-
Josh ain't hurt. A few dumb plays a game though.
-
The Bills had guys get hurt left and right last year to include Allen. Hamlin died on the field and then revived. Last year was a mess from an injury standpoint. Yeah they won 13 games but it was not an easy season. About halfway into it, the offense began to struggle to score with regularity which led to Dorsey's firing this year. It ended with a dud playoff loss to the Bengals at home.

Last year was up and down too

I agree. They probably want to see Jones practice this week before possibly activating him. Today was the last day to activate Elam from his 21 day window hence the move.
-
I'll truly be surprised if the Fish beat the Ravens in Baltimore. So the Bills will be all in against the Fish week 18. If there's nothing to play for week 18, they'll play many of their backups and give some starters a lighter snap count.

Why is it so hard for fans to admit reality?
juno999 replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wasn't happy with the game either. Oliver played well and I thought Ford and Rousseau had some good plays as well. The Bills had 3 turnovers that led to 13 Chargers points. That's what kept the Chargers in the game. The Harty fumble was utterly stupid and a killer. He wasn't going anywhere and his fumble led to a Charger TD. More importantly it gave the Chargers the belief they could win. This team doesn't play smart ball at times. -
Pro football network has a playoff predictor. Similar to Espn.

I thought Rousseau was good early and Ford made some plays as well. Floyd and Miller were quiet though. Need Epenesa and Jones back in there.

They are all divorced reality.

Game thread: TNF New Orleans at Los Angeles Rams
juno999 replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
All these lines and circles on the screen. Annoying -
Not sure where Thompsett gets his number but he states Bills are currently $29 M over the cap for 2024. He restructures Allen, Diggs, and McGovern. These 3 moves would put the Bills $11 M under the cap. He mentions other moves: Hines, Harty, Martin and Dawkins. A good listen imo.
