  1. Had the same thought
  2. Teams usually have 9 OL on the 53 man roster and dress 7 for game day. I think Glenn and Cyrus K. will be starting tackles. Williams and Urbik will be starting guards. Wood will be starting center. Cyril Richardson and McClain will be reserve guards. Hairston and Henderson as reserve tackles hopefully.
  3. Hopefully score td's and win!
  4. What??? This is the best crap I read in a long time!
  5. What is interesting to me regarding this list - they were all drafted high in the first round by their original team. You are correct though there are ways to get a qb other than the draft.
  6. I tend to favor in keeping Johnson and hopefully Cleveland will pick 25 next year with our pick.
  7. That's why i'll be watching on NFL Network.
  8. MD is only 24 and just made his first pro bowl. The guy may be a dumba$$ but he is starting to really come on. The Bills need playmakers on either side of the ball. I believe Donald is one of the playmakers in this year's draft.
  9. I really enjoyed the Patriots first Super Bowl. Da Bears crushed them.
  10. If you pick a QB every year, doesn't that perpetuate the QB experiment?
  11. One player that is "moving up" is OT Martin from Notre Dame. Some have said that he could be a top 10 pick. A four year starter that may go before Lewan.
  12. They picked up a run stuffing MLB and are moving Alonso outside where he can make more plays. The defense should be better with those 2 moves alone not to mention what else they did. Plus you still have the draft and the rest of the offseason.
  13. If the Bills do want to trade up to 1, I have a feeling there won't be much competition for it. The price is too high for most teams and that may include the Bills as well. They say it is a deep draft this year. Therefore, I would like the Bills to try to trade down in the mid teens of first round and take BPA. Then address, in no particular order, WR, TE, OT, and LB.
  14. I agree. Whaley was in a tough spot and did well by saying essentially nothing.
  15. I thought Whaley did a nice job of blowing smoke all over the place. Does anyone know what the Bills are going to do at 9? Trade up, trade down, or pick someone. Who knows and neither do the other 31 teams. Would you want him to say anything different today with 2 weeks to go?
  16. Looks like the Jets Home game is the only team the Bills play after their bye week.
  17. What a joke. The Dolphins and Patriots would love to have this "PR nightmare".
  18. All true. In addition, the Bills could also attempt to restructure Johnson's or Williams' contract at some point.
  19. Sarcasm! Love it. I missed your prior post 194. Go Bills!
  20. I agree. From an odds standpoint, one of these 7 QBs will have a better career than EJ. However, If you listen to Casserly's statement, he rated ALL 7 ahead of EJ based on their college careers. Casserly, if he was still a GM, would take all 7 of these guys over EJ. Time will tell if EJ is the real deal. Here's hoping that he is!
  21. I was pointing out to Bills Vet that Casserly has made some bad picks and backed it up with 2 real examples. As far as EJ goes, to me the jury is still out. Time will tell but I don't think all 7 of those QBs pointed out by Casserly will have better careers than Manuel. If Casserly is so good why is he on TV and no longer a GM?
  22. And with the 3rd overall pick of the 1994 draft, the Washington Redskins select Heath Shuler, QB, Tennessee. And with the first pick of the 2002 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans select David Carr, QB, Fresno State. Both teams were run by GM Charley Casserly at the time of these selections. Picking QBs is difficult as demonstrated by the number of busts. Casserly was former GM Bobby Beatherd's right hand man for the Skins. Once Casserly was on his own he didn't do as well.
