  1. Just think if a new owner goes to court gets the lease declared null and void with some fancy lawyering he pays a fee, not a bribe and moves the team.
  2. I think Shea's would be a great place to host the draft. Its one of those great old iconic theatres. Show people across the country that Buffalo is more than just Chicken wings and snow.
  3. Buffalo Bills Franchise Encyclopedia Regular Season Record (all-time) : 376-436-8 Playoff Record (all-time) : 14-15 Last Playoff appearance after 1999 season New Stadium Cost approx 1 Billion Winning percentage = 60 games under .500 21 Winning Seasons out of 53 Buffalo Ranks 4th in the Nation in Poverty per reports yesterday on CHannel 2, 4, and 7. Last Season the Bills ranked 19th in Attendance for 7 games the Toronto game doesnt count I guess. The Bills Current Stadium was Built in 1973 and is geting a makeover for 130 Million. In what world does this justify Erie County / NYS or a new owner spending over a Billion dollars for a new facility in Buffalo?
  4. Personally, I think Ralph thought that a $400 million dollar relocation penalty would scare away everyone. He didnt count on someone with 31 Billion in the bank saying ok to the 400 Million dollar penalty. However, if someone is wiling to pay the 400 Million penalty, and be the top bidder, and have an NFL ready stadium to play in, that team will be sold and moved. Furthermore how much of the 400 Million windfall do you think that the Erie County will spend to save them? Mary Wilson must have someone at Morgan Stanley cranking out the tax implications if she sells for 1 Billion or 2 Billion, how much capital gains there will be and how much she stands to benefit.
  5. I just googled this meeting and the only link it comes up on is this site, its not being reported by any media outlet.
  6. Excuse me you are incorrect. Yesterday Channel 2, 4 and 7 all reported that 26% of city of Buffalo resident live below the poverty level. Here are the links. Detroit was ranked 1, Cleveland 2nd and Rochester 3rd, and Buffalo 4th. http://www.wgrz.com/story/news/local/buffalo/2014/06/05/buffalo-is-fourth-poorest-city/10037289/ http://wivb.com/2014/06/05/buffalo-is-4th-poorest-city-in-nation/ http://www.wkbw.com/news/Buffalo-Ranked-4th-Poorest-City-in-the-US-262035401.html So about 1 family in 4 can't afford the basics of life food, clothing, shelter and utilities how are they goijng to afford tickets,a new stadium personal seat licenses ?
  7. You would spend more for tickets to see an average game at Penn State, Michigan, Florida, Texas, Alabama, Florida State, Ohio State etc than you will in Buffalo.
  8. Can we please stop saying dome, it's fixed roof or retractable roof, a dome is out of date. That being said, I'm wondering how Buffalo the 4th poorest city is going to build a Billion dollar Stadium. Moving the Stadium closer to Rochester doesn't help much, Rochester is the 3rd poorest city in the USA.
  9. So they don't want to come to the 4th poorest city in America (Buffalo)? Shocking....
  10. Orlando Florida is spending $200 million dollars to renovate the Citrus Bowl and they have no team that plays there week in and week out. They do however host the Florida Classic, The State of Florida high school football championship (8 divisions), The Russell Athletic bowl, and The Capital One Bowl. The University of Central Florida used to play there but now has its own 45,000 seat stadium on campus which they built for 65 million dollars in 2007. Have prices gone up that much in 7 years that 25,000 more seats and a roof is almost 900 million more? Go figure.
  11. A NY State Judge could sentence him to the boot camp down in Brocton, its for punks under 40 who lack order in their life, Im sure there a drill Sargent would /could shape him up !
  12. If I was Marrone, Marcell would be running and doing up downs until he pukes, passes out or doesn't have any more energy to get into trouble.
  13. Like The Eagles did with Desean Jackson you mean ?
  14. At what point do we stop making f-ing excuses for this guy. Life is about choices, he needs to choose to be a grown up and to play football. If not, he's not helping our team to succeed. He's becoming our next Marshawn Lynch all over again.
  15. Late to meetings, drugs and now arrested for drag racing. This guy is a first class immature idiot.
  16. Of course there are bidders who want to buy and move the team. It's pure economics. Buffalo has been on the poorest city list for a while now, almost any other city would generate more income for the new owner. Despite all the new development in Buffalo, the Bills leaving town in 6 years would be a gut punch, they wouldn't be able recover from for a long while.
  17. I live in Florida, nothing but McJobs crime, drugs and lots of gun crazies. Believe me I'd move back to WNY in A heartbeat if I could.
  18. Buffalo needs a massive Public Relation campaign, to get people to move back to Buffalo. I was watching the news the other night and they were on Main Street showing that they're going to be cars driving up and down Main Street now again. I kid you not in the background for about five or six blocks I could only see like one or two people walking up and down the street. Where are the people?
  19. Perhaps someone could go to the library and find some old articles and post them about the discussions of where to put the stadium, and how it ended up in O.P.
  20. I live in Florida. Florida fans are more rabid when it comes to college football, rather than pro. I mean hard to get excited about the Bucs, Jags or Fish. College Football is a religion down south.
  21. I don't understand this kid at all. He was a typical young quarterback in Tampa he won a couple of 4th quarter games and I saw the progression from year 1 to year 2, he went 10-6 and missed the playoffs. However, when Greg Schiano got to Tampa this kid was totally turned upside down and he could do nothing right, and he got released by Tampa. He signed with the Vikings, and later released. Now he's been cut by the Giants. 3 strikes and your out ! P.S. Could he be better than our 3rd QB Jeff Tuel?
  22. I'm glad he's signed but financially he took a huge hit dropping into the second round. I hope he uses it as motivation to blast people off the line.
  23. The Clippers just sold for 2 billion dollars what do you think an NFL team in Los Angeles would bring? Sad to say it sports fans but there is no way in hell Mary Wilson is going to turn down a 2 Billion dollar offer to sell the team to a new owner, who moves the team to L.A. in a few years. If it was any of us, We'd all take the 2 Billion, move to some place warm and have umbrella drinks all day long.
  24. Go back to watching cartoons.
  25. The wind chill in Buffalo today is...
