Why did we draft 2 safeties last year if we weren't going to use them?

We used a 6th on a punter last season and he flamed out by mid season. Most all punters/kickers are free agents, it's like an unwritten rule in nfl. Very very few are drafted.

I think we can agree Brian Moorman was a fantastic punter for the Buffalo Bills however I think its time has passed, we need to have a competition for the punting duties. No wasting draft picks on punters.

The words cutting edge and Buffalo NY don't often collide in the same sentence. I do think because of the economics in WNY, that any new stadium needs to be multi purpose. Last night the NCAA wrestling was on TV from Oklahoma City, that's the type of extra event we could host in a closed roof facility. Why not create a new college bowl game the Niagara Bowl. You can just smell the NCAA Hockey coming to Buffalo in a few years after the harbor center is finished. They could host the NFL combine Personally, while we would all be proud to host a Super Bowl, I think it's a pipe dream. On a positive note I've heard nothing but good things about Buffalo from the NCAA fans in town this week for March madness.

Bills should trade down to 14 or 15 pick up an extra 2nd. Draft Dix, Williams or Ebron whomever is still there. If all gone, trade down again another 4 or 5 spots. Then go after a guy like Martin for RT. Use the 2 2nd round picks for TE and WR. 3rd and 4 round safety and LB.

why doesn't the NFL kick off to start the game and the third quarter, then you get the ball at the 20 to start each remaining drive, until the 2 minute warnings. If a team scores after the 2 minute warning, there is a choice to kick off or place the ball at the 30. Yes the receiving team gets a 10 yard bonus only in the last 2 minutes, it creates some drama huh?

Carrington had a breakout year in 2012 playing DT, plus he was great at blocking kicks, so it's a mystery why we didn't resign him. If he didn't get hurt in 2013, I think he'd be signed already to a good contract. I know we signed Branch, as a backup but I figure Carrington is better than Bryant and Stefan and can play DT or DE. Plus I figure Kyle Williams has 2 or 3 years before he retires or gets traded, same for Branch. It would be good to have an experienced backup rather than a rookie. Finally, I don't see Carrington breaking the bank and is good depth. he's been on the market for a week and still not signed.

about 5 or 6 years ago we drafted a big tall drink of water out of University of Indiana to play wide receiver he lasted like two seasons and made like 3 catches. I want a guy that can catch the ball and make first downs and score touchdowns I don't give a s*** how tall he is.

Certainly a beautiful Niagara Falls view from the stadium would be really cool thing, but there's no way Erie County is going to give Niagara County all of that tax revenue money.

Every time I see a picture of Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis more and more I think the Bills should simply copy those plans , make a few slight modifications, and drop it in Buffalo. Lucas Oil has an industrial look that would fit right here in Buffalo, it looks like a building rather than a stadium, which is one of the things that I like about it. The roof has a retractable feature ,which is perfect for us. Personally, I think it needs to go somewhere in close proximity to Coca Cola field and the First Niagara since weve devoted lots of time and money to infrastructure, hotels and parking lots etc. If it means tearing down an old building or two or relocating a business then I think that would be okay.

He caught 100 passes last year, but gronk hurt, hernandez on death row, Welker signed in Denver. Slim picking for pass catchers in NE, so he got more than his share. If for no other reason than he doesnt burn us for 20 catches and 250 yards a season like he did last season. Good skills would be great additiion, maybe get rid of Graham.
