Five preseason games: good or bad?
oman128 replied to The Big Cat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good for playing all rookies, Tuel or Lewis should start at least 1 pre season game. -
Facts, UB is remodeling their stadium as part of a campus modernization 2020. No way Erie county gives up the tax revenue the Bills generate unless they get something in return. The falls is a great tourist destination, and having the Bills there would drive tourists numbers From Canada, but folks in the southern tier might not like the longer drive.

Kaepernick under investigation for sexual assault in Miami

I'm sure the woman thought they were going upstairs to his hotel room to watch TV, and she had no idea who he is. she's going to end up with a cash settlement, and a confidentiality agreement. Kap, will be playing on opening day, that's the business of the NFL. -
I think E.J. is more Frank Reich, than Jim Kelly.

Why do always play the Lions in pre season, like 12 years in a row.

Bills sign Punter Jake Dombrowski

Is he from Dunkirk or Lackawanna? -
Bills should play the Giants at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse in a pre season game. I'm so sick of them playing the Lions every pre season.
-
I see the first round for trading down or up and the 2nd round for filling needs.

if ever there was a guy who needs a knickname it's this guy.

Is Stevie expendable now that we got Williams?

Who is going to catch E.J.'s 20 Touchdown Passes

What if we draft Ebron, Williams or Watkins, how many receiving TDs should we expect from them? -
Who is going to catch E.J.'s 20 Touchdown Passes

Last season the Bills as a team had 16 TD Passes / 16 games = 1 TD Pass per game. 11 By Manuel 4 by Lewis 1 by Tuel Let's say that Manuel improves and increases to 20 TD passes. Stevie - 4 Woods - 4 Chandler -2 Williams - 4 Goodwin - 2 Graham -2 CJ - 1 Fred - 1 None of these projections are exactly lighting the world on fire, since the Bills like to spread it around. Maybe Lewis plays in 1-2 games and has 2 more TD's. Still it hard to win games if your QB averages less than 2 TD's per game. Do we really think E.J. is capable of throwing more than 2 TD's per game ? I realize that we still have our rushing TD's, Defensive TD's, and FG's. If the Bills are going to break the 15 year slump they need to really crank up the offense. -
I like the idea of drafting one of the top 3 tackles because if Cordy gets hurt we have nobody that can play left tackle well. All 3 of these guys can play both ways.
-
The Bills are very very weak when it comes to Offensive Tackle. Cordy Glenn is a stud we all know that, he is an Pro Bowler in the making. However, behind him we have 3 guys. Pears who had a bad year and everyone seems to want the Bills to release. Hairston who didn't play last season for some unknown injury. Edawn Coughman who I think just got off the bus in Buffalo and the Bills are trying to make him a depth player. That's it we have no other bodies on the depth chart. Now who plays LT if Cordy gets hurt ? Quick Some one call John Fina see if he is available. The Bills need to draft one of the 3 big named ( Robinson, Matthews or Lewan) O.T in Round 1, they also need to add a veteran depth player who can swing both ways at tackle.
-
Ok We have enough receivers can we start stockpiling some depth at tackle. If Cordy gets hurt who plays left tackle ? Pears can't, Hairstons health is unknown and Welch isn't on the team anymore... I'd say we have a huge hole at Tackle behind Cordy. Mathews , Lewan and Robinson can all play right tackle and provide depth at Left.

Could the Seneca Nation purchase The Bills?
oman128 replied to oman128's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Senecas would have to promise not to burn tires along the thruway or steal any state police cars. -
Two observations. The Bills now lead the league with guys names Williams. Mario, Kyle, Aaron, Chris, Nathan, Duke and Mike. The Bills seem to be taking more character risky guys. Mike Williams brother just stabbed him in March makes you wonder why.
-
Can we at least ban his brother who stabbed him?

Could the Seneca Nation purchase The Bills?

Welcome to Seneca Hawk Stadium ! Even if the Bills lose, you can get cheap, gas, booze and cigs on the way home. -
Think what would happen if the Seneca Nation decided to purchase the Buffalo Bills and built a Stadium on land in Niagara Falls or Silver Creek. I bet it would become a smoking stadium, and it would have a convenience store on the property.
-
I'm ok with the Bills stock piling picks by moving down. From 9 to 15 and pickup a 2nd and a 7th. Ebron, Martin or Dix should be there. We could also execute the double move down and get another 2nd by dropping to like 23.

The Bills need to go high impact player in round 1, then fill in needs in the remaining rounds.

New Stadium or Retrofitting the Ralph?
oman128 replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I also live in Orlando and if any of you have ever come here for a Bowl Game to our dumpy Citrus bowl, you'll realize that the RWS is a palace compared to what we currently have. It was so bad that UCF - left the Citrus bowl , and built its own 50,000 seat stadium on campus. I have lived here for 12 years and I went to 1 bowl game several years ago and saw Mich State play Matt Ryan/Boston College. Before the game we were in our seats and Tim Russert walked by I shouted to him, he came over we had a nice "Buffalo Moment" and then he went to the Boston College sideline. Now we have no team that plays in the Citrus Bowl here and our city just invested $200 million for upgrades so when we host the 2 NCAA Bowl Games (Russell Athletic Bowl and the Capital One Bowl) we have a positive look for the TV audience. In all fairness, they also play the Florida Classic in the stadium which is a game between 2 black colleges, and the State High School Football Championships are here also for all 8 divisions. Other than that we host a Monster truck Rally and we even had Wrestlemania a few years ago and an occasional concert. But the stadium location is bad, its in a bad neighborhood that nobody wants to go to , unless your packing heat. Yet our leaders think that we will be hosting the National Championship game as early as 2020 after the renovations which began in January will be ready by November. Yet the Amway Arena about a mile or so away is where our Orlando Magic play in new facility only 4 years old and we have already hosted the NBA All Star game (the night Travon Martin was shot and killed) The facility is part of the Downtown next to bars, clubs, hotels and restaurants, and we have been told by the NBA we did such a good job hosting the ALL star game we will get another. Just 2 weeks ago we hosted the NCAA mens basketball games, the same week they were in Buffalo. I guess my point is that if you build a good stadium in a good area with access to hotels and restaurants and shopping etc the out of town money will follow.
