Knee jerk reaction here, I know. Does this change how we look at McCoy? We'll be running out a "journeyman QB", rookie QB and Nathan Peterman with no real WRs and we've lost 3 of our best offensive lineman... I love love love Shady, but I think he deserves a chance to win. I don't think that is us next year.

I really think we are. AJ, more so than Tyrod, should be able to force the defense to respect the pass so they can't key in on the running game / Shady. Hopefully that opens up the offense and lets Shady do even more damage.

He's a pain...but he's a difference maker. Honestly....unless I can get Rosen / Mayfield I'd seriously consider this for the Bills. Benjamin / Beckham would be a pretty nasty tandem.

RB's last, what 5 to 7 years and then they are done. I honestly don't see a reason to take a RB earlier than the 2nd round any year.

I think we'll get a Monday night game OR a Sunday night game and then a Thursday night game. Hate those Thursday games but it is what it is.

If we had a legit franchise QB on our roster ( not knocking AJ but who knows about him yet ), I'd agree with you. Hell even if we had a serviceable QB at the helm I might be inclined to agree with you. However, to have worked our way into shouting distance of a potential franchise QB only to pick a LB instead would be catastrophic for not only McDermott and Beane but the Buffalo Bills as a franchise.

Unfortunately, I think it'd be Sam Darnold if we had the 1st pick.
