    Man, I get both sides of the argument. Trade up and take a shot for a franchise QB we've all long wanted in Buffalo...or stay put and replenish the roster with talent. I am with the trade up group because I feel like we've tried the other way all to often and it hasn't worked out too well for us. Its time to take our shot.

    If no QB in the 1st, I'd build the offensive line in the 1st round with both picks. Get a top guard and a tackle. I'd look at WR, RB and LB in the 2nd and 3rd rounds ( best available from one of those spots ) unless a QB like Mason Rudolph is available.

    If we got someone like a Lamar Jackson / Mason Rudolph in the 1st and were able to secure someone like a Nick Chubb in the second, I won't be completely upset. Yes I'd rather have a more sure thing at QB, but that wouldn't be a bad draft in my opinion.

    I've been on the Mayfield train for a while now. The only other that I'd be ok with would be Rosen. For me, he reminds me a little of Matt Ryan and that guy is pretty darn good. Mason Rudolph in the second round....maybe.

    The Oilers comeback. My step dad is a huge, huge Cowboy fan and loved giving me grief when Buffalo got beat. When we were down at half time boy did I hear it. When we won....all I did was smile.

    I feel like the absolute ceiling next season is 9 wins and a very outside shot at the playoffs with the floor being 5 wins. If I'm making my prediction, we are a 6 to 7 win team. I'm ok with this...so long as we draft the franchise guy. Its going to take a little bit to get this ship right after Whaley, but it can and will be done this time. I trust the process.

    This is the thing. At BEST you are looking at, what, 40% of them turning out to be decent starters? Quality over quantity at this point.
