  1. So sick of these officials becoming the focus of the game. When you are running up and down the field for 4 quarters your judgement becomes impaired because you are tired. And feel pressure from the thousands of maniac fans watching your every move. And, just maybe because you were secretly given instructions to favor the Pats* (just kidding, kinda). Rather than having on-field officials, why can't we have all officiating come from a central location by professionals watching the game where they have instant access to all available camera angles? We already have that for the "automatic reviews" in situations like scoring plays. Install a few more on-field cameras if need be. I'm sure the NFL can afford it. This way challenges would be WAY faster. No need for the official to jog all the way over to the review booth. With today's technology, I'd like to see in-person officials automated. BTW, This makes even more sense to me for Baseball.
  2. In my experience (I worked at both the Hopkins and the Transit location) the Transit location is much superior although of course you'll get superb pizza at ANY Bocces. Best memories of my life working at that Transit store. Even served Scotty Bowman once! The owner at Transit "Frank" grew up at the Bailey location, he's the son of the original "Frank"
  3. Leadership alone should have kept him on this roster
  4. Who cares if it's only for 1 year...it'd teach this franchise a ton...
  5. ...it would almost guarantee us at least a wild card berth with this defense right? Gotta change the culture around here to get back to winning consistently.
  6. No... More just reflecting how awesome it is to not be one of the poor teams...
  7. This tweet by Jay Skurski says: Rex Ryan, briefly introducing his coordinators, jokes "I'm lucky my owner has deep pockets." --- When coaches decide on taking a job, wouldn't the wealth (compared to other owners) be a very major factor? I would think that the wealth of the owner is probably more important for front office/coaches types rather than for players (unless it's a contract in the upper tiers perhaps). Just another +1 for Pegula...
  8. I guess I'm just saying...we can have all the witty fun...but when it comes down to it (after the initial shock wears off) WE show the class...
  9. Everyone knows that he is a larger-then-life character...that's part of what makes him so awesome. So all the foot/tattoo/otherFunnyCrap jokes... let's (mostly) leave that to Jests fans and we'll set the class standard.
  10. Running Spiller up-the-middle is killing us. I want to basically only see Boobie and occasionally Fred running up-the-middle.
  11. In 2014, Pegula will buy the Bills and guarantee they stay in Buffalo for 20 years. Then, we'll go on a playoff run and be the team to root for all year. We build on this and contend for the Super Bowl with this group.
  12. Was just thinking how much it sucks that we need face Revis twice every year again. The one foil to Revis Island? Stevie Johnson. He shouldn't be our #1, but he fits on the Bills. I wonder if he could embrace more of a mentor role if we draft Watkins or Evans.
  13. RIP. Thanks for bringing my favorite team in my favorite city in the world to life
  14. Bills Daily reports that the Bus Driver was honored at the game: Quick Slants: - The Bills honored Darnell Barton at today's game having him on the field before the game. He is the bus driver who made national news when he talked a woman off of a bridge.
  15. I'll believe it when I see it. The phrase that should be hanging from the wall at the practice field should be "No more talk"
  16. People might have some legitimate gripes about the man (cheap...), but god am I grateful for having the Bills in my life. We are on the cusp of something special and we would not be able to witness it if Ralph had moved this team for (potentially) more $$$. Happy 95th Hall of Famer!
