  1. ...and he might punch you after the game if he loses!!!
  2. Gotta be crying if you are the Browns! It's one thing to miss on Russell Wilson in the third, but this is on a whole different level!
  3. That's kinda sad. He's one of those guys that transcends the game at times.
  4. I agree. The population base of NE is significantly larger than WNY too. The strongest fan base in the AFCE is definitely Buffalo.
  5. Trading for Tony Romo would certainly help us forget about the futility of our other recent QB trades. Otherwise, I see no reason to pick up a guy who is unlikely to survive OTA's without injury.
  6. I couldn't figure out why I kept getting hungry on Thursday. Thanks for the help man!
  7. That definitely is an important development. A head coach brings accountability to all areas. I wonder if the Pegulas insisted on more consistent involvement across the board.
  8. Definitely. While on the subject of kickoff rules, does anyone know if the NFL will change the 25 yard touchback rule during the season. It seems like more returns are happening. That's a bad thing in today's NFL, right?
  9. So, how's it all turn out? It's funny how that pleases me, yet I root for other players who move on. Why is that? Oh yeah. The agent.
  10. They don't? I think the greater concern is whether or not he knows what it is like to be a human being when retirement time comes.
  11. I bet Arians could turn him into Hines Ward 2.0.
  12. Speaking of Powell...doesn't he kinda remind you of a cross between Stevie Johnson and Roscoe Parrish? I was frustrated by his drops, but intrigued by his athleticism.
  13. The issue of standing vs. sitting is the subject of considerable advanced research in Europe due to the crowds that watch the other football. In some stadiums, the seats are made to fold up and the expectation is that everyone will be standing throughout the game. It makes sense that there are no hard and fast rules. On the flip-side, fans should just be considerate of others, especially those sitting behind them.
  14. The only problem with Spiller on the Jets is that he wouldn't see the field against us. Forte owned us last time, so I doubt they'd plan on shying away from utilizing him the next go round.
  15. That is a curious turn of events. I doubt most ST coaches are even aware of how that works!
  16. Agreed, but we aren't going to get much of that while Rex is around.
  17. The problem is that the other 31 teams are also independently competing against each other. Although one team may feel stung by "misfortune" at the time, the 30 remaining teams are busy working on their next opponent. They are too busy to worry about what just happened to a division rival who is also competing for limited playoff spots. Hence, it is very difficult to get critical mass for any type of action. The NFL, always protecting the shield, is also reticent to look too hard because they never want to hurt the bottom line. A loss to the Patriots is one thing. A loss financially is on a completely different level.
  18. I was especially worried when I saw a replay. It looked like he bumped his head on another player's shoulder in the collision. I turned to my son and predicted the end of his career. I was very glad to see him getting his ankle taped.
  19. I think that is part of Rex and Peg's psychological chess match...If Rex plays out the season, he can "retire" without getting fired. By retiring, he'd have to negotiate a buyout of the contract. That would leave open the possibility of coaching again, but save the Pegulas big money. If Pegula pulls the trigger during the season, Rex can walk with $16.5 mil for the last 3 years of the contract.
  20. Is this asking who's better, who we'd like on our team, or who we'd like to "retire" to a remote section of the Atlantic?
