  1. I think we need to take up a collection for you to buy a Tivo and some noise-cancelling headphones. You can block out the game until it's over so we win, then you can go back to watch it like it is live. Besides, you can skip through the commercials and be done in about 45 minutes. Really, it is for your own good!
  2. They practice offensive PI the way Seattle practices defensive PI. I could NOT have been happier than to see our WR hit the LB on that swing-pass TD to McCoy. That's give NE* a taste of their own medicine.
  3. I can't wait for when they all get on the field. It reminds me of the Jets at the peak of Rex's success. It seamed like they had endless talent on the defensive side. That is where we could be heading if we get healthy.
  4. I hope the embrace in the defining moment is a crucial sack of Case Keenum!
  5. I think it is good to get someone like Coughlin in the Owners' box soon enough (perhaps next offseason?). The issue is with the GM and coach. Unless they are struggling and the ship is going down, power struggles could really derail a successful campaign. The way this year plays out will have a lot of impact on Rex and Whaley.
  6. This thread is funny - virtually nothing about Dray, just like game days.
  7. I'll take the WR talent and pass on the QB stuff. If we are down to a WR playing QB, the game is lost already. I'd be shocked to see Pryor win a game that was truly competitive. That does not mean he couldn't be used in some gadget plays etc.
  8. That's merely the product of the Rams being 8-8 perpetually. The media doesn't pay attention unless your team is from a big, east coast city or if you are in the Super Bowl. Donald is an outstanding player and has been for years. But, how would we move the ball consistently without a top-notch receiver?
  9. That's exactly what I thought. O'Leary has shown he can block as well as catch. Corrrection, Football Legend Nick O'Leary is Jack Nicklaus' grandson.
  10. Keenum does not have an NFL caliber arm. I think he is weaker than Fitz... Now, Fitz picked us apart a couple weeks ago, but I don't see the Rams using a spread offense. They don't have all those receiving weapons either. Stack the box and see what Gillmore/Darby and Co. can do on the back end. That's kinda funny, because last I checked, Fisher still has 12 more opportunities to get back to 8-8 or 7-9.
  11. Expect it, until they miss the playoffs. These stories write themselves. Rarely are there new narratives in the NFL, just recycled headlines with names and places changed from year to year. Since the media provides so much coverage, it is not necessary to actually provide truly valuable coverage of an event like the Bills/Pats* game because there are hundreds of games per year. The article could actually say, "Blah blah blah, NFL, blah blah blah, Bill Beliache, blah blah blah, Marcia Brady, blah blah blah, Rex, Rob, Tyrod, Shady, blah blah blah." and almost no one would actually notice. That is why the National Anthem thing is such a big deal to the media. It truly is new news. With that said, the media saturation will quickly result in a whiplash of resentment from the consumers who grow bored. Kaepernick would get more bang for his buck if he stopped protesting the anthem and moved onto another creative method of gaining attention for his cause.
  12. I forget that Shaq is named Lawson too. I thought your headline was about Manny. I think Dareus will be a big boost. We can get heavier in the 3-4 without need to bring a thumper like Spikes on the field. His ability to play all three downs will be a big boost. Kyle plays all three, but there are times when he looks winded.
  13. 4. The team is usually breaking huddle with 20 seconds on the playclock. TT was given a play before he left the sideline to start a drive. Rex really wanted that last play in the first half. All signs of a confident offense that is in a flow. Another point to add...Woods - solid, not flashy, but Hines Ward solid. That's what we need from him regularly. I think it might be the first shutout at home since '93. The other shutout was away at Miami - I think it was the wildcat game.
  14. The game today reminded me of the old 90's games - back when Victor Kiam owned the team. They were such a laughingstock. If I had known then, what I know now about NE* fans, I would have enjoyed those years so much more.
  15. I would agree on the offense, but we'll need to see if our defense can stack up. Should be a fun game to watch.
  16. I would have to say that the ref's were not easily influenced like they often are by Brady. Buffalo had a couple plays that were close, but the refs called it by the book. The NE* fans are so accustomed to getting everything handed to them, they have a hard time being objective.
  17. Zack was solid again today. The Brown Brothers are the real deal. It is a blast watching these guys fly all over the field.
  18. Can you imagine how irate this board would be with Whaley if we entered a game with only Cardale on the active roster!?!?! It would explode. But, Genius Bill thought he had it all mapped out. My favorite replay of the game was that tablet meeting an early death.
