  1. That is the correct interpretation. He would be forced to a 53 man roster either way.
  2. 'Twould be splendid to go in at 5-2 and even better to come out at 6-2 with the tie-breaker vs. our nemesis.
  3. That would be awesome...Just in time for a late push.
  4. Whey would he be concerned about the conduct of fans toward Kaep?
  5. He certainly seemed to be a player coach during his time here. Nice to see he's doing well post-playing-career.
  6. It is an impressive job by Crossman. I've not been a big fan. It is even more impressive considering the absence of Easley.
  7. I didn't say I was convinced he was guilty, I just think there were parallels with other older athletes, like juiced hitters in baseball. It is a purely anecdotal observation in light of unbelievably pleasant production from a 33 year old player. Good point. I certainly don't want it to be a matter of PED's, nor did we suspect our beloved 89 of using PEDs when he was performing so well as a receiver. At a broader level, I'd love to know if there are players who are in situations similar to Lorax's who gamble on PEDs to get that one last contract, even if they know it could cost them a 4 game suspension. Just for clarity sake...I am not saying that I think Lorax used PEDs.
  8. I said a similar thing in another Lorax thread... http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/189181-2017-alexander-woods-browngilmore/page-2?hl=lorax&do=findComment&comment=4082136 I've always wondered about the guys that are out a long period of time like Alexander was during 2013. Does the NFL test them while they are on IR or completely out of the league on an injury settlement?
  9. I think we should look for a RT still. RG is easier to fill than RT.
  10. It's funny because just last year he appeared to turn the corner using that short passing game. Now, with Adam Gase, he is regressing. At this point, if I'm the Dolphins, I keep Tanny next year too. Perhaps it is just the learning curve on the system.
  11. To some, everything is a haiku. To be honest, I prefer a good limerick over a haiku, but I think that's just residual bitterness from my school years.
  12. Interesting read. Nice to get some positive press after the first couple weeks of negativity. It only continues if we keep winning.
  13. Kinda funny that Chip is in SF with all the Kaep drama.
  14. Anderson is looking good in his second drive. Gotta like those tall receivers.
  15. He's one of our most-penalized linemen, but I don't really mind.
  16. I'd like to keep Bob if he's in the 4-5 mil range. Beyond that, it'd be tough. I'm not too worried about Lorax's number because he'll get dinged for PED's in the off season. That's the only way I can understand his improvement! Zach Brown isn't going to be a top priority because of Ragland. The team needs to emphasize the draft, not signing every last free agent.
  17. Gannon was especially critical of that play. The way he described the play, you would have thought the clock would start ticking after the ball was reset. Obviously, Gannon thought he could have done better, but I could not see it. I think these announcers have a certain script in mind and they don't know how to adapt to a different storyline.
  18. As soon as the guy went into motion I was tipped. If Fisher wants to blame anyone, he should critique the blocking from the gunner. He got thrown aside by Darby like a rag doll. The only normal motion that you'll see in the NFL is motion to bring the gunners in tight when the defense is showing block. Otherwise, motion is highly unusual.
  19. The only issue would be salary owed. If he clears waivers, they can negotiate a new contract.
  20. It appears that Rex is quite capable of going after one-dimensional teams. He did so with the Rams and I'd expect the same with SF on Sunday. I'd also expect the QB to get about 200 yards passing, just because we emphasize the run so much. I'm glad we'll play Miami prior to NE* Otherwise we might be a little too accustomed to playing unbalanced, run-oriented teams. NE* will definitely come at us in various ways.
  21. He definitely is the Yin to Rex's Yang. He does not show much emotion which can be good (Hoodie) or very bad (Jauron). I think I might get an amused look on my face of Fitz was my qb. He's one of the most maddening quarterbacks in the NFL. One week he'll light it up, the next he'll light himself on fire with turnovers.
