  1. Welcome...to the writing side of the wall. Four SB's in a row? Or four games? Either way, I'm with ya. GO BILLS!!!
  2. Isn't Steratore the guy who's giving Hercule's a run for his money? Anybody know where to get statistics on this crew?
  3. Hehe. I think Carlos should beware the Brown brothers! Throw in a little Spikes and don't forget the return of Marcel!
  4. I think that is what they were hoping for. There was a better chance of having him available later if they shut him down early. It all depended on whether or not the second surgery was necessary. That's why the updated IR-Designated to Return rule is so nice. In the past, they would have had to designate Sammy when he went to IR. Now, they can wait until week 11 to decide if he can come back.
  5. He definitely stretched his career. I thought he was done by the time he left BAL. To see him playing for several years after was impressive. He certainly outsmarted his opponents often. I was glad for the years he wore a Bills jersey.
  6. I think it's dramatic because he can actually got on the field this year. It remains to be seen if that will mean he has a starting spot next year or even next week.
  7. Cheer? We come here to cheer? I thought it was about being miserable and finding company.
  8. Except he doesn't have a 4.30 40 time.
  9. I agree that he'd enjoy a good performance against his old coach, but it's not like ol' Chip is gonna strap on some pads on Sunday. I think Shady will be focused on scampering around the 11 men on the field.
  10. Common thread: Brandon It's likely that this is all part of his scheme to regionalise the Sabres.
  11. Actually, TYROD1QB fought for the right to express his own opinion about Kaep, even as he fought for Kaep's right to freedom of speech.
  12. Isn't this the same injury Dez Bryant had? Didn't he experience a similar yo-yo effect on his recovery?
  13. The only news I can find is from the original injury and that he is still on PUP.
  14. Augie's right about the money. If they didn't have roster limitations, the teams would also stock players on the Injured Reserve only to reactivate them whenever they wanted. Basically, these rules help reign in cheaters. Can you imagine what NE* would do if there were fewer restrictions?
  15. Perhaps they should get ready to play a fearsome defense!
  16. I can just see the responses here: Tyrod's only good on long throws. Surprised Goodwin was winded after his 4th TD...SOFT/glass Where has that been all season - Rex must be held accountable. Why didn't we target Clay more frequently. Sure, those long TD's are nice, but were they over the middle of the field? I didn't think so!
  17. I don't think Mario was a bad signing, but I do think that our attitude toward him turned when his attitude toward effort turned. For whatever reason, Mario ceased to perform and we were glad to see him go. Superstars should never underperform to the point that fans cheer for their departure. Even if the physical skills diminish, the effort and character should be resilient. Evidently, in Mario's case, something was lacking. Fans are entitled to point their collective finger at Mario's effort.
  18. I wonder how much responsibility goes to Whaley, Rex, or Roman, for Gronk's spot on the Week 1 roster.
  19. That would definitely be an interesting development. He does have the offensive qualifications to take them out of the dark ages. He would definitely benefit from the fantastic recruiting they get in Baton Rouge
  20. Thanks for the links. The analysis is far more interesting than the unsupported opinions of many sports journalists.
  21. Exactly right. I was frustrated by the broadcast on Sunday. They kept saying that he started out with the Titans. He is definitely another gem on Whaley's resume.
  22. Let's try to confuse them and go for 300 passing yards - 4 passes to Goodwin for 75 yard touchdowns.
  23. I agree...beat the man to be the man. I think they just need to take it a week at a time and not worry about teams on the horizon. Most teams are perpetually an injury or two away from mediocrity. You never know what those later matchups will look like.
  24. That's picking low-hanging fruit. (I'm just jealous that you beat me to it.)
  25. That was pretty funny. Perhaps Lorax should be our lone captain when we play the dolphins.
