  1. Not really... He is getting paid to do a job. He should not have come back from suspension in poor condition. That's like a laborer showing up to work unprepared to with for the day. He is an obvious upgrade over Douzable or others. He also would provide fresh legs to a group that has played a lot already. I think he cost us an advantage against the Miami run game especially.
  2. Don't worry, your signature won't be on that check. I'm sure the Pegs can handle it. The big concern is the salary cap. That number is not $27.5 million against the cap, so well be OK.
  3. Technically, he had experience playing for the guy who started in front of TT. I'd still be very interested.
  4. It doesn't really matter because he's on his way out of NY. He'll sign another back up deal elsewhere next year or simply sail into retirement with a sweet $12 million for his last year. In fact, if he can get them to bench him, he doesn't even need to risk injury.
  5. I think it is a veiled attempt to suggest we trade for Josh Gordon.
  6. On an NFL sideline...Gatorade cup = porta-potty. Powerade's marketing department has to be thinking of ways to leverage this.
  7. If it was college rules, he would have between ejected and probably suspended. I think college gets the targeting rule right. I think the NFL should fine and suspend him.
  8. I just hope Rex doesn't wake sleeping dogs with some moronic comment to the media. Keep the preparation quiet and professional.
  9. That's OK. Nobody listened to Namath because everyone assumed he was drunk.
  10. So, we basically should turn this thread into a Dareus thread, since he was obviously the missing piece. You can't discount the loss of AWill either.
  11. It really depends on the system. Essentially, TE replaces a fullback in their system, not a WR. Bill* likes to poach system-fit WRs in FA so he doesn't have to wait for development.
  12. Always fun to get good press, especially from someone who has some credibility. Nice to get mentioned alongside the Dallas OL, too. They are legit.
  13. This game is one of my earliest Bills memories. I think the loss, especially that play solidified my spot as a Bills fan for life. It definitely sums up my experience as a fan of this team!
  14. So if the Sabres play another outdoor game at New Era Field, the Bills will need to relocate to KeyBank, right?
  15. When Fitz is retired, that is the game he will pull out to show to the grandkids. That was his best performance ever. He regressed to the mean and the rest is history! Geno starting is clearly a tank move! They are gunning for one of the top 3 spots in the draft.
  16. Yep, stupid, but last I checked, stupid draws a lot of clicks and eyeballs. We're not talking about an article in a peer-reviewed medical journal. This is sports journalism. There's a reason why it is not esteemed the same as other forms of journalism.
  17. They just need to make sure they keep him in the building until the paperwork is signed.
  18. I consider both to be opposite sides of the same coin. I miss those days when we hated Miami more than anyone else!
  19. I think that the team was not expecting TT to be as solid as he was and felt that a one year adjustment period might be necessary. You can't say that publicly for business reasons, but I think they are pleased to have made the full transition after just one season of mediocrity.
  20. It is nice to know that if we truly value a player, the current owners' cash-flow will not be the primary factor in our negotiations. As much as I appreciate Ralph for keeping the Bills in Buffalo, there is no denying his financial impact on the roster. Maybe the Bears could trade Jeffery for Marshall. I bet Marshall and Cutler would be dynamite together.
