  1. In time we won't, but until present success exceeds the glory of the past, well bask in our memories.
  2. I guess that makes me family! I was sickened by the sight of his collision with Landry. I can't fathom what they must have been feeling. I hope he listens to them and their doctors.
  3. I think that is the adjustment you are seeing... Pegs leaving Whaley to do the football thing. I think pegs may have learned from getting burned by Rex.
  4. It's going to make Lynn's interview so easy...TP: Anthony, tell us, how should we address the special teams. AL: I fired Rex's guy at the two minute warning. TP: You're hired!
  5. I think that O'Brien would work well in Denver, unless he doesn't like Lynch!
  6. That's what I saw. Remember, EJ got the first team snaps in practice. He also got the starters playing for him early in the game. I wasn't impressed by Cardale, but I was still quite relieved to be done watching EJ. That was painful.
  7. I loved that line, the minute I heard it. One of the best things Tasker ever said!
  8. The problem is that TB*** doesn't come along with BB***. Besides, our experience with NE*** castoffs has been pretty consistent. We get slightly less than one good year out of any of them. See Lawyer Malloy, Drew Bledsoe, and Brandon Spikes.
  9. That's the first thing I thought, although a guy like Fred normally does other things first. Maybe he'll be an informal presence at first. Either way, I like having Freddy around.
  10. Um, no. Rob is gone. I thought that Rex was reluctant to implicate anyone because it was Rob.
  11. Re: Groy, he's played so well, if be tempted to consider him as a replacement for wood permanently.
  12. He doesn't have the option, the team does. It is clear that Lynn would prefer him on Sunday, but Lynn also knows the business decision. This doesn't take money out of TT's pocket. It just gives the bills full flexibility in their evaluation. If the Bills were tied to TT because of an injury, that might scare off coaching prospects. If Lynn is hired, he may lobby for TT after all.
  13. If I understand things correctly, this is a regularly scheduled press conference required by the league. Thus wasn't a special presser. It would be unusual for Whaley or any front office personnel to participate.
  14. I think that's a great attribute in a HC! Exhibit A: BB* from NE*If Lynn is our HC, he'll get better at the press conference game too.
  15. Additionally, Lynn cannot be credited with the points from the first two weeks.
  16. Because Lynn hasn't quit on anybody. It's simple. Moron burned his bridges on the way out of town.
  17. I couldn't see who you were referring to until I opened the link. After yesterday, I assumed that you were advocating the acquisition of Poe.
  18. Definitely rooting for a loss - a blow out with another embarrassing defensive performance would put the final nail in the coffin.
  19. What's really sad is the amount of talent that is actually in this roster. I think this is the most talent during the drought. Truly appalling coaching.
  20. I agree, but he also put us in position to win in the overtime. The D+Carp lost the game.
  21. It was like the wind completely died at the moment of the kick...quite disappointing! It thought the players lacked heart. It was like Douzable was playing for his next Rex Ryan roster spot. He appeared to be the only active DL until late in the game (despite his missed tackle). I thought they looked like they were trying to get Rex canned.
  22. Wake us up when Tebow make another NFL roster. I'm no TT apologist, nor am I a Tebow hater, but one thing is for sure, Tebow couldn't throw the ball. TT has his weaknesses for sure, but I guarantee you that he will be competing for starting playing time on teams for another 5+ years. Tebow will be done with baseball before TT is done starting in the NFL.
