Looking into it further, PFFs separation score is actually a combination score of multiple factors of a WR route and not just how open they are so it really isn’t a good representation of that aspect specifically.

Week 1 PFF rankings agree with the lack of separation issue and I didn’t see anything in the limited week 2 reps to dispel this yet. Going to be interested in tracking this all year:

I’m all for your argument but it seems like you’re giving Josh rushing TDs with his TD to Int rate and not including fumbles which he did have a pretty big problem with. Would need to re do the other QBs ratios accordingly but I’d imagine his fumbles are much higher than most QBs.

A Ravens loss to the Browns actually wouldn't help the Bills much at all. In order for the Bills to hold the tiebreaker over the Ravens they need their loss to come against a common opponent, Colts or Bengals. A Browns loss bringing them to 9-7 gives them the edge over the Bills, 5-0 to 4-1 in common opponent games.

I don't think that is in our best interest. It is more likely than not that it will come down to more than 2 teams at 9-7 and if that is the case the bills actually own the tie breaker over everyone except KC(their SOV is the best by far). With a Chiefs win, they just need to stay at least tied with the chargers to win the division, most likely scenario since they have the easiest remaining schedule. The chargers can win out besides that KC game and the Bills would still beat them on conference record.

Analytics is so much more than in game decisions, people need to understand that analytics is not just going for it on 4th downs. It is used very effectively to monitor player performance both in game and in practice. Players use analytics to make their workouts more effective and get the most out of their bodies. It is an extremely useful tool that for some reason personally angers people who can't stand to think sports change and adapt over time.

Im not surprised the Bills don't seem overly interested in him. Aside from the price tag I don't think he is a McDermott guy. He had repeated violations at his apartment for weed and had the entire building complaining about the smell of weed. I couldn't believe this guy passed through the NFLs punishment and won't be shocked at all to see him get busted this offseason for it.
