Not sold on Cleveland yet. AFC north is wide open except for the Bengals. With improvements on the OL, Houston can move up a spot. Jets can move down (they're not ready yet)
-
Give him a shot. He's a good punter and more entertaining than what we already have here.

two more weeks until the draft?

It’s very odd. Almost as if this “executive” is mad that Beane did things differently than the teams who throw stupid money at FAs.
Well, of course ther's going to be that ONE hater out of the bunch.
-
Well, the new guys can't be any worse than what we had last season. That's a plus already.
-
It wouldn't surprise me one bit. They're putting the pieces together one at a time, but nobody's expecting much from them.
The glass slipper fits!

Oh, I thought they meant the WR. THAT would have been crazy.
I thought the same thing. Had me wondering what was Gruden inhaling.

I think if Josh Allen makes no improvement this year over last year this is currently an 8-8, even before the draft.
If he is improved, even noticeably improved, I think it is no less than 9-7, maybe 10-6.
With this schedule, 10-6 is asking a lot but anything's possible

Beat me on this one.
Here is his Draft Profile.
Strengths
Good acceleration. Flashes the ability to bounce outside and has long speed to pick up big gainers when he breaks free. Functional short receiver. Willing blocker and special-teams player with speed to contribute in the pros -- has experience covering and returning kicks. Helped himself at his pro day -- posted sub-4.4 40, 37-inch vertical jump and 6.89-second three-cone drill. Competitive, tough and hardworking.
Weaknesses
Lacks ideal bulk for the position. Average eyes and instincts. Lacks elusiveness to string moves together. Limited run strength -- not a powerful pile mover or robust tackle breaker. Average career production (shared carries). Needs to improve technique in pass protection. Could require extra reps to grasp complex concepts.
Draft Projection
Priority free agent
Bottom Line
Fast, linear, one-cut perimeter slasher best-suited for a zone scheme. Never established himself as a feature back, though his speed and special-teams ability will give him a chance to compete for a roster spot.

Maybe BB will act as his own D Coordinator

Tackle? DT? DE?
I think we do need alot more bodies and talent on the defense life.
I would have to agree. Build on the DL, and get another LB to take over for Lorenzo Alexander once he hangs up his cleats. They can't allow themselves to get so caught up in fixing the offense that they neglect building up on the defensive side of the ball
-
I'm expecting them to draft a DT who is tough on the run and can pressure the QB up the middle
-
Glad to have him back. He was pretty solid for us. Just have to stay healthy. We're going to have a very good secondary
-
How many more RBs do we really need?

Hard to predict. The defense was #2, which is so unbelievable to me. I don't feel like it was that good. They should be pretty good next year.
The offense was better towards the end of the season. Everything is pointing to a good season next year, I just don't know.
Defense at #2 was a big surprise considering how many times they got blown out, offense did get better towards the end of the season except for the running game.
If the OL is truly upgraded, and the running game gets going like it once was, 10-6 has a chance but we can't allow teams to run all over us on the ground. If Fournette didn't get stupid, Jacksonville would have beaten us.

The draft could push us into the playoffs if done in a sane way imo.
I think that we both can agree that 6-8 wins would be quite depressing.
Anything less than 8-8 is a failure

10-6 looks doable to me, but 9-7 seems more realistic with this schedule. Matt Parrino is calling for a split with the pats. I have my doubts about that one.

I think most fans were pretty upset that day...the Jets pulled off the trade the Bills were supposed to make....hopefully Allen will be just as good- if not better.
I think Allen will turn out to be much better than Darnold. Just a hunch

He really needed a change of scenery. Maybe this will help him

Don't be dumb, Don't be dirty!
Don't even think about signing this guy.
Let Gregg Williams have him
Offensive weapons or finish the Defence?

Finish up the defense. O-ling and WR groups have been addressed in FA. Special teams have been improved already with the canning of Crossman. D-line still needs some fortifying
