  1. Other than Roman, my feelings are mixed about the new offensive coaching staff: http://espn.go.com/blog/buffalo-bills/post/_/id/17112/rex-ryans-coaching-staff-nearly-complete Kromer should be an upgrade for the OL. Wish he had kept Rob Moore as WR coach, and looked more outside of the Jets for some of the hires. Your thoughts?
  2. Too many FG's when they needed at least 1 to be a TD, and it would be GB vs NE instead.
  3. Maybe Schwartz will find himself in the NFC south with either New Orleans or Atlanta. Both need help defensively.
  4. No it is not obsolete. It's still a necessary aspct of the offense that opens up the passing options, slows down the pass rush, and still wears down a defense late in games. In the case of the Bills, it's definitely necessary.
  5. Hey Doug, how's it going with the interviews?
  6. I agree. He only needs to run when he has to, not as a regular part of the offense. I'd rather see him use his legs to extend the play and get the ball to one of the playmakers downfield, and if it's not there, then run and be safe.
  7. That's exactly what it was. They're both very good defensive minds with two different ways of accomplishing the same thing. Yes it sucks that a championship defense is working with its third DC in 3 years, but as long as they keep getting better under each new one, it's all good. I'm more concerned about the offense.
  8. I just hope he can resolve the 3rd and forever syndrome they have on defense where if they don't get the sack, they get burned for the big play.
  9. My belief is that if it ain't broke, don't F*** with it. Granted Rex is a very good DC, but Schwartz has proven that he is too. They just have different ways of doing the same thing. I'm inclined to trust Rex on this one, but I'm hoping he does more to enhance what Schwartz accomplished as opposed to changing it altogether.
  10. OK, fair enough. But if you're wrong....... http://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2015/01/rex_ryan_explains_firing_jim_schwartz_says_buffalo_bills_defense_will_rank_no_1.html
  11. My belief has always been, if it ain't broke, DON'T F**K with it! Let it keep doing what it does best. Schwartz will be quickly hired. Hopefully as far away from the AFC East (and our schedule) as possible. Good luck Jim. Thanks for stopping by and making a contribution to the defense.
  12. I see: 1) Defense remaining among the best 2) More competent development of EJ 3) A much stronger running game to rely on to aid in EJ's development 4) A legitimate split with New England this time around 5) A playoff berth.
  13. No worries. Rex might just get us back to the playoffs and beyond. Have faith
  14. Before we can even think about the SB, we've got to be able make it to the playoffs first. Gotta take it one step at a time.
  15. Those 4 are a MUST. And if CJ is still with us, PLEASE use him the way he's supposed to be used!
  16. I said the very same thing in the Bills Mafia FB group. The whiny, panic stricken, dirt kicking, doom preaching negativity is just plain sickening now. I thought these were true die hard loyal Bills backers and supporters. Yes, it's disappointing that they didn't make the playoffs, but it's NOT the end of the run. We have something to build on. 1) A championship caliber defense 2) Improved special teams 3) Our first winning season in a decade DESPITE a) A not so good semi-retired QB, and b) A coach who held back the offense (and maybe Hackett too) to the point where it regressed. 4) An opportunity to bring in a coach that can improve the offense and hopefully develop EJ in a way Marrone & staff couldn't. 5) A GM with the stones to make the bold moves to improve the team In the words of Aaron Rodgers, "Just Relax". We're getting there. Let the powers that be at OBD do what they do. We'll get to the playoffs next year. JUST RELAX GO BILLS
  17. My sides hurt from lmaooooo at the thought of it
  18. THAT'S what I'm talking bout! Let's see what a better coaching staff that knows WTH they're doing does with this group.
