  1. He's earned the opportunity to run with the 1's and show how far along he's come. It was the correct decision. GO BILLS!!! GO EJ!!!!
  2. You do have a very good point. Can't help but agree with you. This guy is is working his way through a lot of adversity, and he really is improving. He has a lot of the qualities of a franchise QB. He just has to play and develop. I do like Cassel as his veteran backup, but Cassel is not the long term solution. I do like Taylor, but would have to say the jury is still out on him being the long term answer at QB.
  3. It's not exactly like we have a shortage of return men, but I'd definitely go with Harvin. He's always a threat to score with the ball in his hands.
  4. I wouldn't be surprised if Rex already has his mind made up, and the real competition is for the #2 and 3 spots
  5. Rex's strong suit is defense. Roman's is offense. He needs to trust his OC on this one.
  6. EJ is still erratic at times, but he's definitely improved, and he's putting points on the board while under constant pressure behind a 3rd string line that may not even be around for week 1. Start him with the 1s against the Steelers and let the truth be told about where things really stand with him now.
  7. The best and smartest thing Rex can do with the QB decision is listen to Roman and trust what he tells him.
  8. True. What we saw is what we know we'll get with Cassel. Let EJ start game 3 and TT back him up. We need to see more of both to get a fair assessment.
  9. Playing behind that 3rd string line, no suprise he stayed under pressure - and STILL came through when it counted! He's earned some time with the 1s
  10. I agree. Give the guy a fair opportunity. He's doing all he can to earn that much, and he's the only QB so far with TD passes, so what if it's been with the 3's, let's see what he can do with the 1's now.
  11. If he develops as a pocket passer, this offense is the perfect fit for him, and vice-versa. With the heavy dose of the run, our weapons in the receiving game, and his ability to make things happen on the run (ala Doug Flutie/Michael Vick/Russell Wilson), we become a threat in the playoffs if he's a consistent producer.
  12. Very good analysis. I like Taylor. If he can pick up just a few things from the veteran Cassel to add to his skill set. He's our long tern starter if he can stay healthy. I'd much rather see him use his legs to buy him time to throw the ball more and keep his running to a minimum, but when he does run, he's going to burn the defense for big chunks of yards. He reminds me a lot of Michael Vick in his prime although I'd like to see him really develop as a true passer as well.
  13. Great story. Can't help but like and pull for him. he'd be a pro bowler if we had better QB play.
  14. As long as he lets the football and hockey people do what they do best and stays out of their way, it's all good.
  15. I don't agree with all of these. Especially Fred Jackson. He's staying!! http://www.rantsports.com/nfl/2015/05/15/15-nfl-veterans-who-will-be-cut-during-2015-training-camp/?utm_medium=referral&utm_source=Outbrain&utm_term=Title1#slide_01
  16. The true voice of the Bills. RIP and thanks for the memories.
  17. Yeah, she swung first and should also be charged, but he could have also been a better man and just walked away.
  18. I'm really looking forward to the season. This is the year the playoff drought ends!!!
  19. That's usually the way it works. If he hangs around long enough to develop a playoff caliber offense, I'll be happy with that.
  20. This one's too easy. If he stay's healthy, and the Saints use him right, CJ Spiller. Runner ups are Chandler in New England, and of course Kiko in Philly.
  21. Yes they can! Some teams have even won a Super Bowl with career backups at the position. Rex even took the Jets to back to back conference championships with Mark Sanchez at QB so why can't we get in the playoffs with whoever starts for the Bills (hopefully EJ)?
  22. I'm just hoping that he earns the start because he's become that much better instead of it being because Cassel & Taylor sucked just that bad
