  1. As much as I like Marquise Goodwin, what good is he if he's not on the field because he stays hurt? How many games do you think he'll actually play in this season?
  2. Miami scalps the Skins (they're a wreck on a wreck).
  3. A toss up between the Titans and Skins. Go with the Skins for the #1 pick next year.
  4. Sitck with him. Let him work his way through this. He'll be allright. Now if he s up during the season, then yes. Send him on his merry way but for now, keep him. Don't expect to find an available upgrade among what's out there now.
  5. There's more invested in EJ long term than Cassel, and his improvement warrants keeping him. Cassel's only advantage now is his experience. Keep him as #3 if possible. EJ must be the #2 in case Taylor gets hurt, or his lack of real game experience + other teams figuring him out comes back to bite the team in the crotch.
  6. He deserves a chance to finish his career with a title contender (as long as it WASN'T the Patriots). I hope it happens for him.
  7. He'd be a big hit in the Big D even though I'd love to see things work out so that he'd end up back on the roster. We're going to the palyoffs and he deserevs to be a part of it. If Not. I hope he lands with the Cowboys or Packers.
  8. He desereved one more year. Bryce Brown was supposed to go before Jackson. Just wait till the next time he fumbles. We're all going to be calling for Freddie. Very unpopular move.
  9. Really?? Seriously??? That's not even a thought in Whaley's mind. He had his one good year until Shanahan ruined him after that. Yes, he could be successful here under the current coaching staff, but we're good with what we have. Don't need him. Pass on this one. I wish the guy good luck with his new team.
  10. Sal does have a good case for all 3 guys, but the best case scenario should have EJ starting. http://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2015/08/31/maiorana-can-make-reasonable-case-qbs/71379072/
  11. EJ was drafted #1 to be the long term franchise QB. Now is the time to start him and find out one way or the other if he really is that guy. He's earned that much.
  12. I agree with you 100% about Taylor. I like him, but longevity is a concern. Cassel is out of the running for #1 but does have value as a veteran backup and insurance. EJ has great long term value and upside with the right coaching staff to develop him the right way (he has that now). I think he'll be the one to get us a championship over the next few years. We're going to the playoffs this year with good health. GO BILLS!!!!!
  13. Ej does have more starts than TT, he's the only QB of the 3 (nevermind Simms) to have TD passes in each game he's played. He was the underdog in the competition and overcame everything that came his way to earn back the job. He's proven to be resilient, and has come a long way now that he has better coaching. Go with him in week 1. It's his time!!
  14. EXACTLY!!!! EJ's earned his starting job back. Tyrod has done enough for #2 but EJ does have more starts. Cassel stays as the veteran presence. We still need that while these guys continue to develop.
  15. EJ's overcome a lot to earn back his starting job. Simms to Practice squad. Cassel to #3 as veteran insurance and support for when the other teams figure out EJ & TT.
  16. EJ's making a VERY VERY strong case for himself that may have just pushed Cassel down to #3
  17. It's really not as bad as it's being made out to be. They're doing just fine with the depleted weapons they have to work with. I think the Bills can get to the playoffs with either of the 3. They don't have to be superstars, just be consistent, efficient, and mistake free. So far, EJ is the only one with a TD pass in each game he's played in the preseason, Taylor brings excitement, and Cassel brings the needed veteran experience. Best case scenario is still EJ winning the week 1 starting job as the long term answer at the position for years to come. 2nd best case is Taylor. Cassel is not the long term answer. He should be the veteran backup and insurance if EJ or TT falters, but from a win now standpoint, he'll serve the purpose.
  18. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm hoping EJ does well enough to earn the starting job. It's the best case scenario considering the investment and the long term potential.
