  1. I think they're doing the right thing with TT. Save his running for late in the game when it's needed the most.
  2. The front 4 (2 Williams, Dareus, and Hughes) were much more dominant in the 4-3 than in this defense. But they're professionals, they'll adapt and excel as the season goes on. They kept this game winnable.
  3. They can't play like this next week or they're gonna get bent over. The Bengals are much better than the Titans.
  4. You're right. They came through when they needed to.
  5. 1) Still too many penalties. A painful penalty on the first play of the game? Really?? Seriously??? 2) The call on Graham in the 4th was bogus 3) TT has proven to be clutch in the 4th qtr. 4) Coaching staff made the correct adjustments in 2nd half. 5) I give credit to the defense for keeping them in the game, but I still believe if Rex was the great mastermind he's made out to be, he could have kept them in the natural 4-3 defense they were built for, and just added his touches to it and made them much better. Mariotta picked them apart for most of the game. 6) Our CB's are better than many people think they are. Darby didn't get challenged much this time. 7) The 80 yard ground and pound TD drive was awesome. 8) Henderson owes TT big time for bailing him out after those back to back penalties. 9) If they play like this in the first half next week, they'll get blown out by the Bengals 10) #9 is not gonna happen. They owe the fans a win after the last 2 stinkers here. Bengals unbeaten streak ends at the Ralph! GO BILLS!!!
  6. I don't see anything to gain for him by getting back out there again, or for them for even reaching out to him for help. That would be a major indictment of Kelly's off season moves as being catastrophic blunders.
  7. Are they serious??? Are the Eagles really considering bringing TO back at 41?? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000553478/article/terrell-owens-i-could-absolutely-help-eagles-right-now
  8. Rex's schemes are much more complicated than Schwartz's was, and they were better because of it.
  9. I think we'll shock Cinci. We can't suck 3 straight times in our own backyard as long as they get a grip on the foolish penalties
  10. If that's the case, rest him for a week or two. He's a good kicker. I still trust him more than Cundiff with the game on the line.
  11. If only they'd put some kind of extra heat on the guys responsible for our high penalty count.
  12. I'm pulling for Carpenter to get through this. I don't trust Cundiff with the game on the line. I'd rather bet on DC.
  13. Ok, granted, he's sending a message to Carpenter, but really? "The Bills newest kicker has a career field goal success rate of 76.2 percent. Carpenter has a success rate of 84.3 percent."
  14. Penalties, penalties, and more penalties! Regardless of who the coach is, this has been a recurring theme for years. Big plays wiped out by penalties. How many times over the years have we seen them do that
  15. I see us going 3-1, with Philbin going out the door either before or after we beat the fish again.
  16. You're right on the money with that one! Ryan's defense is a much more complicated one than last years.
  17. I'm still lost on why is it last year under Schwartz, we relied much more on only a 4 man rush and not only led the league in sacks, but were much much tougher against the run than we are now?
  18. This team scares me. You never know which one will show up from week to week.
  19. THE BIG #1) Once again, penalties, penalties, and more penalties. This time they cost us 2 TD's AND the game. 2) Roman's play calling was off this week. 3) We finally have a TE 4) Darby has all but officially taken McKelvin's job at CB. 5) I still think the defense was better with Schwartz running it. 6) Offense is still much better with Roman running it than it was under our last coordinator. 7) There were some questionable non calls from the zebras, but there still no excuse for what we saw out there. 8) TT CAN play from the pocket, and would have pulled this game out (see #1) 9) We're 0-2 vs SB winning QB's/coaches this season so far. 10) We'll take this one out on Tennessee next week.
  20. Oh yeah, Philbin's a done deal after this. It's just a question of who's taking over after the firing, and if the DC still has a job next week.
  21. I'm thinking McKelvin just lost his starting spot the way Darby's coming around.
