  1. Definitely extend him. He's a solid #2 WR. I'd like to see him targeted more. He'll be more productive once we develop a franchise QB.
  2. $350??? Oh NO buddy. You can do much better than that. How bout this instead: Over 100,000 movies from past to present 1000 + channels All seasons and episodes of your favorite TV shows (again, past & present) Sporting events from all over the world. All NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB games No commercials to interrupt your movie watching All with NO monthly costs and NO contracts. Go to www.ibourl.com/2tp3 And take a look at a much better option.
  3. This is an indictment of both Rex Ryan and Dennis Thurman. Neither has up to this point proven that they can make their scheme fit the players they have, Their system is not a good fit for this group, period!. If these two are as goos as advertised, there's no reason why they can't adapt their system to the skill set of the players so they can do what they do best. At this point - Advantage: Jim Schwartz!
  4. Wade's a better DC than HC, but I would be fine with him coaching the team as long as he has the right OC, and leaves Ronnie Jones wherever the hell he is now and keep him away from our ST.
  5. If nothing else, EJ has proven he can put points on the board, and he can mount a comeback even with an injury depleted offense And on the flip side, he can put points on the other teams board, and put us in a hole to make a comeback necessary. I like him, I'll continue to support him, but dayum he scares the hell out of me
  6. 1st half was by far THE worst by a bills QB in a very long time. 2nd half was indeed the best of the season so far. He's already consistently good - AND BAD. But then again, we could have just seen the turning point in his development in that second half where it all just came together for him (yeah, I'm really reaching now, but hey, you never know). Nice to know I'm not alone in my optimism for him
  7. Actually, EJ really is consistent. It's just too bad it's consistently inconsistent. You just don't know which one you'll get. The EJ that buried us in a sinkhole, or the EJ that dug us out of it. Sunday we got to see both.
  8. Hmmmmm Where is Thad Lewis now? I thought he could have been developed into a pretty good backup. You're absolutely right. That was the point I was making in EJ's defense. Even though he really did suck everything suckable in the first half, he put it behind him, overcame it, and brought the team back in the 2nd half. Had we won, somebody (not me) would be speaking EJ's name in the same sentence with Frank Reich (Again, NOT me)
  9. Horrible doesn't bring a team back from 24-3 to take the lead in the 4th. He accomplished that! And on the flip side, he's the one who got us in that 24-3 hole. Had the defense made that one last stop, we'd be praising him for bringing us back. But he'd still be riding the pine behind TT when he comes back. I give him credit where it'd due, but at best, he's a 7-9 caliber starter. At worse, he'll get you to 5-11 and a top 5 pick in the next draft.
  10. That one area he's definitely developed consistency. He's good for missing on a few of those simple throws, then comes back later and nails a throw you'd think he's gonna miss on.
  11. Oh wow. You went way back in the archives to dig up Gary Marangi
  12. You're not alone buddy But don't get me wrong, we need TT back. EJ is the Jeckyl & Hyde of the QB position.
  13. True. But still. He did his part and overcame it all and got us in position to win. And we're supposed to win those games when we score 30+ points.
  14. Maybe he was trying to say that we lost because he wasn't on the field when the Jags took back the lead.
  15. Had the defense stopped the Jags from scoring, the headlines would read: EJ overcomes worst half of career to lead Bills to comeback win. HE DID THAT! (except for the win). He put that pathetic first half meltdown that should have had him put under the end of the bench behind him and turned it around in the second half and brought this team back from 24 down (with help from Corey Graham's pick 6) to put the Bills in position to win. It was up to the defense to close it out, and they couldn't deliver (That BS call on Robey didn't help). He got the ball back and was moving the team again to tie or win the game until some questionable play calls derailed the drive. 1) Why not give the ball to Shady to get that yard we needed? 2) Why would a 'ground and pound' offense roll EJ to the left to pass (he's a right handed passer) on a critical 4th and 1 instead of ramming it down the Jags throat with a str8 line power run? We had time, 2 plays to get 1 yard, and time outs to work with? He came through and got this team back in the game despite how bad he sucked, swallowed, and all but choked on it in the first half. Give him that much credit while we hope TT and the rest of our walking wounded heal up soon before we start hearing the circling the drain sound on our season. He made of for his first half performance and came through for the team in the end, the team (and coaches) didn't come through for him after we took the lead.
  16. I'll take Roman over Hackett any day. We wouldn't have come back like we did with Hackjob calling the plays.
  17. I'm an EJ suporter too but yeah, he really sucked this time. Had we won, the headlines would read 'EJ recovers from 1st half meltdown, and Graham gets pick 6 to lead team to a come from behind victory'. Since it didn't happen, he's still the goat of the game despite bringing them back. There were other contributors to the loss but there's no denying that his play in the first half was the big #1.
  18. I said it can't ALL be put on him. That's only because he did get them back in the game and got us the lead despite himself. Yes he's the reason we went so far behind in the first place, but give him credit for his part in bringing the team back too.
  19. Not all of it, but yes putting them in a hole in the first half is on him. On the filp side, he does deserve credit for bringing them back to take the lead that the defense couldn't hold.
  20. 1) Great comeback, but way too many mistakes. 4 Turnovers - 2 went for TD's. You're not supposed to win like that. 2) EJ is Jeckyl and Hyde. Sometimes he's good, and other times he looks like he belongs under the bench. 3) I don't agree with having an inconsistent right handed QB rolling out to the left to pass in such a critical situation like that in the 4th. 4) Penalties weren't as bad as we're used to, but the ones they did get called for hurt. 5) D-line pressure was much better this time. Just wasn't enough. 6) I thought they should have ran Shady on 3rd and 4th down (if necessary) with such a short distance to go. He would have got it. 7) Penalty on Robey was highly questionable, but then again, we know how those calls are going to go. 8) We need our injured guys back badly. The bye week is badly needed. 9) Can't put this loss all on EJ, he dug them out of the hole he put them in. Defense didn't close it out. It was a team loss all the way even though he was the big #1 contributor to the loss. 10) Not counting them out yet. They'll win the next 2 before falling again in New England to go 5-5 after 10 games.
