In all honesty, I thought it was pretty funny. He's fine with keeping it at that level. Just hoping he doesn't get too full of himself and go overboard with it. The less attention, the better right now. Maybe we'll catch another contender flat footed like we did the cardinals.

I know this is asking a lot, but be humble for once Rex. Don't get bigheaded over one win (with 2 losses). Still got a long way to go, and some really tough playoff caliber teams to face (like the division masters on Sunday).

Well they got the one upset. If they pull it off again this Sunday, maybe we can actually take them seriously again. But geez their schedule is brutal.

1) Without a doubt the best and most complete game of the Rex Ryan era with the Bills against a championship quality opponent 2) Strong running performance is the team's identity, Shady was much better, and Welcome back Jerome Felton. Great lead blocks. 3) More is still needed from the passing game to keep defenses honest (anybody seen Charles Clay lately?). 4) Every time Aaron Williams goes down, it scares me. Glad he came through. Solid play from him and Corey Graham. 5) Corners (minus Darby) bounced back very well from last week's pitiful performance. 4 picks!!!!! 6) Welcome to the OC role Anthony Lynn. Very good first impression, now build on it. 7) INT by Peterson as nice as it was actually did us a favor in that situation. Worked out better than a punt. 8) Kyle Williams still brings it! I think Rex will last until the Bye week unless things really get ugly. Roman would have possibly been tapped to take over the team after firing Rex after week 4, but he got Roman first and bought himself some time. None of the other assistants would be ready to take over as HC for now.

I got that same thought in the back of my mind too.....

I agree. 2 games don't make or break a season with 14 left to play. Way too early to hit the panic button. However, Rex is definitely in the burning hot seat already.

There's a HC job waiting for him next year with the Bills if he wants it.

I like McDaniels. He knows the division, and with the right DC, he'll turn it around here quickly

The season is nowhere near over, but it's not off to a good start. 1) A reversal of roles this week. Agreed. Defense is ahead of the offense right now. Hopefully they'll get the kinks worked out before Thursday

It does have its pros and cons. The pros of course is that they're healthy to start the season, the cons is obviously they're not sharp enough yet because they not in regular season form (boy did that ever show today).

Obviously it wasn't the start we were hoping for...... 1) That first quarter really stunk bad, but they did manage to settle down some afterwards. I just wish Darby could have got that pick 6. 2) I just copied this one from my 2015 posts so I can just paste it here every other week - PENALTIES - especially on Special Teams ........ smh 3) O-line appears to be stuck in preseason mode, losing Glenn didn't help but Kouandjio didn't kill us at LT. 4) Shady looks good. I did see a run or two he could have got more out of if he were a little less inclined to bounce them outside. Running game is still our bread and butter. That's still going to be our key to winning games but we need more from it than what we got this week.. 5) I did like the decisions to go for it on 4th and short 6) Hughes had a good game and a pair of needed sacks (no penalties called on him as well?), but that critical missed tackle at the end was fatal though. 7) Leger Douzable looks like a serviceable fill in on the D-line. 8) 'Bills Run Deep' but no deep shots downfield????? 9) Any good team (like Baltimore) our defense holds to one TD (Duke got flat out burnt) and 2 FG's, we should beat. I'll be happy with whatever the record is as long as they don't suck the whole 100 yards, and come out of it fully healthy.

If used right, he's an impact player in the making who will add great depth to the LB group.
