From SF to the Bills To the Ravens, he's produced a top flight rushing attack everywhere he's been. Pair him with the right DC and he'll be a successful HC
-
They haven't had a QB since Manning retired, and he was all but washed up then

9-7 might be enough this year
As shaky as the AFC is this year, yeah.

I guess a team with a worse record then ours will get rewarded with a playoff spot
( instead of us ) because they’ve beat one winning team along the way ? !!!
If they can beat a winning team then so be it. If we can't do that then what's the point of going in as an obvious one and done team?

At some point you have to beat a good team....period
They don't belong in the playoffs if they don't beat one of the better teams. This 6 game stretch will tell it all

His season is over :(

Garrett's season should be over without pay. That was 1000% unacceptable. No place for that in ANY sport
Pouncy was just sticking up for his QB, but still should get 3 games for kicking Garrett. No place for that either.
-
He should get the rest of the season off without pay! You don't go upside another player's unprotected head with a helmet.

Father time is undefeated for a reason Tom. Hang it up after this season

He's going to need more size if they want to keep him inside, problem with that he could loose quickness. Yesterday it looked as if he was being pushed around easily taken out of the play.
Agreed. He's very quick but too light in the @$$ and can be easily pushed around by the bigger lineman. It's going to take a while for him to learn how to use their size against them

He's going to need more time and experience

10-6 is as close to a guarantee as it gets. I don't see any other wildcard contenders getting there. Certainly not 2 of them.
10-6 would win the division if it weren't for the Patriots

I wrote this in the game thread:
A win is a win ...
1) terrible run defense first half
2) nice adjustment second half
3) horrible 3Q again
4) I'll take it!My sentiments exactly

I'm more concerned about us stopping the run.

The vast majority of the threads being created after the game (not this one) and today shouldn’t even be responded to: they are knee-jerk reactions to a bad game. They’re classic, ‘Woe is me!’ threads. Give me a break.
A few weeks ago the threads were all about how Daboll was going to get a HC opportunity and today he’s the worst OC in the history of the NFL.
Personally, I like what Woods said today on WGR about Daboll: he’s an exceptional OC, the problem is a lack of execution and the realities of the NFL. Sometimes teams are just gonna show out. (All of that is paraphrased.)
Everything else here is simply noise.
Agreed

I thought that Buffalo would win 8 to 9 games this year. I now think that 10 seems more realistic.
They are an improved team with more depth, but no star players. They are not at the tier of the top teams and likely a first round exit.
They are lucky to have four very winnable games to figure things out coming up. If they do not win three of those, I will be very worried for them going into the games with Dallas, Baltimore, Pittsburgh and New England.
Very disappointing yesterday, but they caught the Eagles at the wrong time and I am hoping that a loss like this is a wake up call and the beginning of a turn around instead of a collapse.
I'm thinking a wake up call that could be the turning point

Why? Daboll won't use them
He probably wouldn't

I still question his lack of run calls and the underuse of Singletary as well as not using Beasley in the same manner the Pats use Edleman (and used to use Wes Welker when he was there)

I expected us to go 9-7 with losses to the Jets, NE, Titans, and Eagles by this point, so things are looking pretty good to me!
Same here.

Relax, we still have a good record in the conference. 5-2 is not bad in the watered down AFC right now. We're still looking good under the circumstances.
Did we get run over and exposed by the Eagles? YES! Was the defense humiliated and unable to save the day for us this time? YES! It was going to happen sooner or later. We're we outworked, outhustled, outplayed, and outcoached in all aspects of the game? YES! Is it panic time and the end of the season? Absolutely NOT! The Eagles aren't the patsies the Bills are used to beating up on and they got taken in the alley and beaten like an unwanted tramp, but there's still nine games left to fix what's broke....
Run defense
Kicks getting blocked
Ball Security.
Underused run game
Daboll's Play calling
Being owned in the trenches
0 for the season on deep balls
Despite all that, we'll be ok. Just got some things to fix quickly
GO BILLS!
Just don't let that $#%! happen again!!!!!

Beasley and Singletary both need to be used more and better than they're being used now. Daboll is missing that point big time
Next two weeks tell us all we need to know

They're going to have hell on their hands with the Broncos, then there's the murderers row with 3 straight division leaders (Dallas, Baltimore and New England). going 2-2 in that stretch would be nice. We won't beat the Ravens and the Pats still own the AFC East. Cowboys can be had but they're going to be looking to avoid losing two in a row after this upcoming loss to the Patriots. The best we'll do here is a split over the next 4 games. Here's where the truth gets told about what kind of team the Bills really are.
