  1. Nice mix of seasoned veterans and good young up and comers for his coaching staff.
  2. I would definitely say keep the base of the offense and build on it. We have a championship level running game that needs an improved passing game to compliment it. And if Frazier can tighten up the defense, We're a playoff team. The offense doesn't need anything more from Dennison than add an upgraded passing game to what we already have on the ground.
  3. He's playing in the Patriots system and has Tom Brady throwing to him. Of course he's going to look great. That's the Patriot way Jerry!! We all saw this coming the moment he signed with them - way before it occurred to you it would be like that for him.
  4. If the new offensive coaching staff is better at QB development that Rex's staff was, we can be a contender with TT and an upgraded WR corps that can stay healthy.
  5. So far, so good, but we've seen this too many times in the off season. While I do like the experience he's bringing in to the staff, I'm reserving judgement until week 12 when we see where things really stand.
  6. Agreed. TT is our best option right now, and the bigger issue this season was the defense. McDermott fixes that, and we get the 3-4 more wins we need to end the playoff drought.
  7. They're not in need of a rebuild. Reload yes, rebuild no. ^^^^ Like it or not, he's right.
  8. I agree. TT is nowhere near as bad as he gets made out to be both here and in the media. Rex's staff was never very good at developing QB's anyway. This staff might be able to get much more from him. I personally think we can win with him at QB, and it's not like there's much in the way of better options available. Romo is NOT an option, Cutler is NOT an option, somebody else's backup is NOT an option for a starter (ask Houston about how that worked out). The smart play is to give this coaching staff an opportunity to get the most out of what we already have at QB. We can win with TT, but not with the defense playing like it did this season.
  9. This team would have made the playoffs with better coaching. I don't see a blowup and rebuild as being necessary. Tanking should not be an option. Just keep building on what's already here.
  10. Agreed. Thurman never really had a true opportunity to run his own defense under Rex. Maybe Washington will get to find out.
  11. With our running game, Rivers wouldn't have to carry the team or throw 30-40 times for 300 + yards every week. Sure he'd be a solid 1-2 year bridge QB for us, but how effective will he be playing here in December & Hopefully January?
  12. That would make sense. Check out the numbers on both: http://www.wkbw.com/sports/bills/joe-b-bills-oc-candidates-olson-and-childress-by-the-numbers
  13. Texans would be the better fit for him. If he can stay upright long enough for them to get that easier AFC South division locked up, he can rest until playoff time.
  14. 3 years ago, yeah, I'd say get Romo. But now, we already have a fragile as hell receiver group, why extend it to the QB position? He won't last the season anyway. Better off keeping TT and bringing in a solid enough veteran backup to compete with Cardale for the #2 spot until he's ready to take over..
  15. Why scapegoat him? He's not the one who overpaid up the for another team's backup QB.
  16. Somebody at Redskin Park has their eye on a top 3 pick in next year's draft, but in order to get that high of a pick, they have to match incompetence with CLE & SF. What better act of insanity designed to tank down to their level than hire Rob Ryan as your DC? That'll get them close enough to the bottom quickly.
  17. Really? Seriously?? http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/washington-will-reportedly-interview-rob-ryan-for-defensive-coordinator-job/ I thought you guys could use a good laugh today
  18. Yeah, this guy has a vision and a plan, and he's executing it step by step. So far, so good.
